Titan Gilroy quoted this entire part with a run time of 15 minutes... I tried but can't get anywhere close... Just the honeycomb takes 8-12 min depending on parameters

I have 14:43m on Op1 and 12.02m on Op2 Your settings and machine RPM have a big effect. If you are using 4000 RPM and we use 8000 or 10000 - we can cut 2x-2.5x faster with same chip load. My 2d adaptive operation at 8k takes 6 min. 4K will take 12 mins plus all the others

I actually made 5 of these parts using a 10k spindle. Still took longer than 15 after lots of optimization. I did just program it with max cutting speed and best tools and still can't get those times

@@belecammanufacturing6646 - the CAM machine time estimates may need some tweaking to align with actual results. I just applied my machine setting in Fusion 360 and Op1 is now 15:23m - I will need to do another actual run to see time. What was your estimate in CAM and what was your actual time?

@Pokey Doherty I'll take it that they had a higher rpm and thats why it was 2.5x faster. Comment said titan quoted 15min. I was assuming that was with his 4k program. I think spindle load plays a huge role also. I just did a part that was 3x more material in about 15 min because Instead of .075 spindle load I did 2.5. My machine was at 135 percent load the whole time. Way faster. Tons of fun learning 😁
