Incorrect. Check when virtual reality was patented. 1957 was it? Us feeders are 30-40 years late to the game as always. Go back to the 1990's when NASA explained at that point that anything you've seen in the movies has already been accomplished by the military. They just have to dumb it down for everyday applications. You think the drones they sell at Walmart are something they just developed in the last couple of years? Maybe from their analytics the majority of people who own their devices spend time on a laptop and charge their phone on a laptop. Thats the sort of data they collect. They make informed decisions for the majority of people who own their products and if it makes sense and saves them money at the same time they will consider that decision. Those who complain mostly either: A. dont own a apple product B. own 1 apple product and don't want to buy the rest of their devices. What it goes to show is that a lot of people own two or more apple devices. I for one don't mind purchasing a dongle for the headphone jack as i don't mind plus i spend more time on my laptop as i use it for work. Not just browsing the Web. I enjoy their products despite their decisions. Their products last many more years than the traditional laptop for example. Ive been through it all. Ive had my Macbook Pro since 2014 and I'm happy with my purchase I also own an iPhone 5s sooooo. ye. My only issue with them are the price hikes. But my products are going strong. Im not complaining.

Their demos showed video games in the past. They looked great. On a whole other level from current vr.
@runi54135 жыл бұрын
Grzegorz Durda VR was developed purely for gaming, while AR is being developed for practical applications. The Hololens' resolution, color and definition are probably gonna look pretty crappy compared to the latest VR HMD's, 'cause that's kinda like comparing an IPhone 10 to a powerful gaming PC.
@GrzegorzDurda5 жыл бұрын
@@runi5413 VR was actually developed for business and Science research. Its been marketed for gaming because there is already a new technology and this will be like VHS vs BETA. Current VR is not impressive, yet. Augmented reality provides a completely new dimension to the experience and its whats next. Current VR as it is will be short lived as it always was. The thing is ridiculously obtuse even today.
@runi54135 жыл бұрын
@@GrzegorzDurda Well, they both offer a very different experience, so I'm pretty sure this won't be like VHS vs BETA. It would seem that you really dislike VR,... but let's also remember that BETA died because there wasn't any porn on it, which is definitely NOT a problem VR has 😚 (plus, every time I fly somewhere I see more an more people wearing some kind of VR on the plane. I don't see it "dying" at this point, it's already too ubiquitous for that)

great but I still think this technology is in its early stages. one of the problems I see is you can't interact with something if you don't look at it, as you can see at 9:12. she turns and leaves the bird behind. it might be a small thing but I guess people will tend to do these kinds of mistakes while multitasking and it takes away from the experience. I hope the next generation of hololenses will come with 360 degree cameras. also, it doesn't seem very responsive to me. overall I think it has many areas to improve but it will be exciting to see it happening.

This technology opens up a lot of possibilities. I wonder if this could be done on a slightly larger scale. Example, place it on the windshield of a car. There you could get augmented directions to locations, see names of stores as you pass them by. Cops could see reported stolen vehicles pop up with icons next to them as they are detected. You could clearly see where to go without having to look away from the road. Using these glasses, you could load high level instructions on how to repair your car or electronic devices. Race car drivers could install it in their helmets and get real time car conditions and instructions from the pit; lap time info. It's almost turning life situations into a video game HUD. Hmm, the more I think about this, the lack privacy could end up becoming an issue. Reminds me of the movie, Anon on Netflix.
