There are little "white flashes" seen near the border of the glasses - what are those? (Is it something from the sensors, perhaps being seen by this particular camera?)

It’s definitely an IR projector - after all, hand tracking is supposed to work in dark environments, and IR is the best way to do it. The iPhone uses it for Face ID - that’s why it usually works in the dark. IR light is invisible to the human eye, but digital cameras can still see it.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Spatial Audio drivers. It is said to be convincingly immersive, and dynamic. E.g. Brian Tong, MKBHD, and iJustine all got on FaceTime spatially and 1) their voices sound like they’re really coming from their video tile and easier to parse. 2) the way the tiles’ sound echoed changed when they went from their filming location to the virtual forest the sound became more deadened like being in the woods, but the one who went to Haleakala said the voices were bouncing off the volcanic rocks. Wild. Although fairly audible to those nearby.

can't use in traffic during the drive apply or use in hospital, operation deck, during surgery all details, data, info needed heart beat rate, blood pressure all shows up in front of all doctors eyes, clearly know what is what, what is needed next urgently usage in space station, no need to fly/float around in order to get to the panel for instruct or what button needed to be press actually, just do it with the aid offer by vision pro then can save spaceman's time, everything smooth and accurate, it especially helps in urgent situations, one finger tip can save the whole space station under several problems encountered.

the device is great. But the operational system and apps available are far from ready to use its full potential. The experiences I see on these reviews are not worth $3500. Let's see it in 3 or 5 generations.

Supposedly the cameras along the bottom edge of the headset are only used for hand tracking. I doubt Apple will be looking at *any* of the camera footage, and especially not that of the hand tracking cameras. They’ve said that all visual data doesn’t leave the device unless you allow it.

It's not as heavy as people say as I used it for about 4 hours straight without a problem but I already jerked the battery off the table and onto the floor half way pulling off the headset on the way down 😂
