@@Norcalw204 i have a 2010 gl450 and I love it super reliable, only this gives issues is air suspension. Engine is a rock though, very solid. I dont understand why in newer mercedes they dont offer a brown dashboard its just beige seats with black dashboard.

0-60 time is much faster than what was said. It is 6.1 and under 6 if you know what you are doing.

When we took back our 2010 Lease last July for a 2012 C300 the NY Dealer showed us their entire inventory for the North East Region USA and not one C300 Sedan in the inventory had the lighting package. A few C350 Sedans and C Coupes had the Lighting package but that was it. Of the E & GLK Class we looked at as alternatives I would say 90% of those vehicles did not have Lighting Package. Even the sales guy was perplexed by that. However, the xenon option could be retrofitted for a hefty price.

For a luxury brand the upgraded lights should of been standard but oh well at least now 10 years later almost all cars have led headlights

I test drove the GLK,X5,JX,Q7, and was plan on testing ML, but I picked new 2014 Grand Cherokee. With all these luxury vehicles, you would have to get option packages for so many features. For example, power Lift gate is standard on my vehicle. I have all the features without breaking my bank.

I know I own a 2012 model but Benz don't sell their cars like that unless you special order it. 99% of the buyers of Mercedes Benz walks in talks to a dealer and he tells them what he has available in the dealership inventory. Sometimes chain dealerships that work together in a region will bring up the regional inventory list. For some reason since 2010 to the date of me writing this a lot of North East USA inventoried C, E and GLK Class do not come with Lighting Package.

Exactly! Its not about the lighting package. Its putting a halogen bulb in a reflector bowl that kills me. It makes the car look cheap no matter what car it is or what price.

@Mathew Krampshin I understand that and I totally agree with you. I'm a hardcore Mercedes-Benz fan boy myself. However. The current standard choice of headlights they have for the C & GLK class is not exactly high quality.

@851995Stargate I'm in no way talking about Xenon headlights. I'm simply talking about rather than having clasp looking headlights in a reflector bowl, use projector bulbs like they have been doing up until the 2013 revamp

Might as well buy a 2013 Lexus RX with all the options, despite having a FWD based layout and reliable features. This GLK will depreciate more than the RX will.

This is the same v6 use in the ml. The ml weights about 4700lbs and the 0-60 time is 7.3. Why is glk weights only 4100 lbs but has 7.5 0-60 time?
