Are you all watching the same trial as I am. Journalists acted unethical in my personal opinion. Gave him little time to respond. Jourmalists looking for the truth hold the report and give adequate time for a response. A few days to a week. Journalists also don't send emails such as he has a punchable face. Actual malace is a real possibility in my opinion with the emails on the record. The report, headlines, supers/titles should all have been reviewed by an attorney for CNN along with teses, bumps, items to promote the story called promos. Web stories unless exactly the same should also be reviewed and approved by the station attorney. I don't like his exaggerations. I don't like what i see as misleading actions. Explain what on the record is and off the record is to all sources or people your talking to who don't understand.

Never in my life would I ever do anything like this at all. Talk about a dishonorable discharge. Unless this is after his commitment was fulfilled and he did it as a defense contractor or something along those lines and even though it's still dishonorable to act in such a mannor.
@snippetsordinarylife15 күн бұрын
He has long since left the army and CIA and had his own company (or was working for someone, can't remember). At this stage, the US government stopped evacuating anyone as they considered the country "closed", even though Biden created the problem. I would imagine anyone continuing the evacuation would be doing it at quite a risk to themselves. He helped evacuate employees from a few large corporates as well.
@HomesteadAfghanistan15 күн бұрын
@@snippetsordinarylifehe never evacuated any Americans or foreigners. The us government was absolutely chartering flights in the fall, as were NGOs and volunteer groups, and the USG continues to do so until today.

He wasn't dishonorably discharged, he was working as a private entity to which corporate sponsors were paying him. He was providing a service to the corporations such as Dyna Corp in assisting people to evacuate a war zone. Remove the plank from your own eye before passing judgement on someone's situation that you yourself have no idea about!
@HomesteadAfghanistan5 күн бұрын
@@joseyzadoria7815 interestingly, of the three of us, only one of us has local experience, local contacts, and have *personally* coordinated evacuations, in person in Afghanistan. And that person is neither you nor Young. Guess who it is.
@jimhollywood27635 күн бұрын
No one should be surprised that getting help in a country like Afghanistan under these circumstances does not require paying large sums that ignorant folks in the West have no understanding of. When the CIA or other agencies deal with people in this part of the world they must bring bags of cash. You pay for a person who knows a person who knows a guy. Everyone gets a cut. I am speaking about people in Afghanistan. Getting a car to take someone out of a country is dangerous and you will be exploited none the less. In the end it is the US government who owns this situation.
