mcaddicts true but he was the only monarch in history to humble himself, let go of the past and look to the future not as a king but as a normal person. He didn’t do a great job with politics but he was an entrepreneur before that and I respect him for even trying. Everyone else in his position would simply turn into a worthless socialite but he got his hands dirty and tried to make the best of his position. Have you seen how the rest of Europe’s royalty live their lives?

He is the second of his name. His father was Tsar Boris the 3rd and he ruled before him. Tsar Simeon I The Great was a ruler in medieval times, first of his name to rule Bulgaria.

It's not proven but both sides are the suspects and there are motives. Hitler could have poisoned him because his majesty Tsar Boris declined sending Bulgarian troops against Russians in the east and so the Fascist party can take over the control of the country. On the other end, the Bolsheviks could have poisoned him so they can slowly overthrow the government and install a communist one in its place. Both things also have good timing. Boris died not long after his visit with Hitler but a year afterwards, the Communist coup happened.
