What a beautiful story keep up the good work! You all and your staff are a God sent to the chimpanzees!!! I am glad you guys brought it to their attention that they would continue to lose a great amount of chimpanzees if something didn't change so thank God you guys came and . hopefully some people will understand the need of taking care of these animals and will not keep selling them and treating them bad .I am sure that a lots of that is still going on .We need them as much as they need us!! They are part of us and we are apart of them.God Bless🙏🙏

🇨🇦 hello from Ontario Canada. I cried watching your video. I love all monkeys too and feel sick to think that if something doesn't change they could become extinct. Gorillas and other monkey breeds are facing the same thing. These two people and the carers are all angels. These are absolutely beautiful animals and what you all are doing for them is totally amazing. Your love, commitment, and dedication to keeping the chimps thriving is beyond words. Thank you all with all my heart for what you's are doing there. God bless each and every one of you! Sincerely! 🙉

I am so glad there are people like your husband and yourself it gives me faith in humanity your selfless act is super amazing and need to be acknowledged more here in the U.S I was just talking with my fiancé about this I was seeing sanctuary’s for Orangutan but not enough for chimpanzees and I came across your foundation, so amazing! I hope within the next few years I can start by traveling to volunteer my time to all animals in endanger and to animals who face uncertainty as well. Keep doing what you are doing you both inspire my family, let’s hope it will inspire more people and bring awareness to more people from all walks of life as it did for you and you do everyday of your life. I will forever watch your channel.

Hi Jim and Jenny, it's a happy feeling seeing you both, the caregivers and the young chimps. I was discussing with my mother about chimpanzee in Liberia and showed her this Inside Africa documentary. My mind went memory lane while watching and admired your advocacy. Best regards, Rio of UNMIL

So tragic 😣 kudos to this amazing couple ❤ I hope they are able to expand into the new facilities soon so that Jhonny won't be caged any longer. So sad that he has to be kept in a cage because they lack the proper space. This amazing couple and caregivers' labor of love is really commendable 👏 I wish them more continued success!

Hello! How often do you allow volunteers come from America? I bet it's been hard with Covid. Bless you. I want to bring my kids to the elephants sanctuary in South Africa and here! I want them to witness this kind of giving.

It takes a special kind of person to do this my hats are off to you. I would love to work with the Orangutans once the Chimps get older they get really unpredictable and are more capable of violence. It's not the Orangutans aren't capable just a lot less likely but the Chimps have a hierarchy and politics they also live as a tribe with an alpha male where Orangutans once back in the wild live a more separate life the females stick together.

I think I have a good idea for you. I could tell Immediately when you showed James coming home with the gang of what, baby chimps?, that your wonderful Princess was , as you said, a Great source of of comfort and generally a Good Model of what a well-adapted, socialized animal is. And yes, your dog will not last more than another 4-5years. YOU NEED TO GET A COUPLE/3/4 PUPPIES NOW. So that Princess can start training them. A couple of things Zi know about dogs: most of them were bred specifically to Do A Job. They’re never happier than when they’re doing their Job. The other thing: they’re Domesticated Wolves and like the others of their kind (incl.coyotes, wolves, foxes, hyenas and probably others, they’re Pack Animals; they thrive in a Clan-like group. Obviously Princess is Very Well-Adapted to her critical role. But I’m Sure you will find the addition of a few more canine companions for your orphans will Continue having the positive effect it has already been having. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
@brendajoycewhite57473 жыл бұрын
Alan Warner, that is a great idea, but I dought Africa would alow wolf's or cyoties that even if humanized are a wild animal not from Africa, But, Border Collies, Australia Shepherds. Are great breeds to raise with them, they naturally learn hand signals, you can say the word with hand signals, this helps if you need to have them move the monkeys in another area,now, or by teaching a different hand signals for a type of animal, and could use similar sound of monkey sound, then your command what you want. I have had both. My last one got bit by a snake in Oklahoma, never made it.

Sorry to ask that but who is taking care of the real children of the baby chimps care-giver while she works at the sanctuary ?
@liberiachimpanzeerescuepro27264 жыл бұрын
Hi there! That is a very good question. The caregivers all live right nearby so they have their children at home just like we do and in fact here there is a communal lifestyle so children go back and forth between the homes of their aunties and grandparents whenever Mom isn't home. I hope that helps! Thanks for asking! Jenny

If there’s any “Jenny”watching this, I’m available to become her “Jim” and I mean it 100% , since I’m unable to socialize and don’t know how to make friends like other people. Cuz of my severe anxiety I have zero friends and that’s pretty much who I am.
