Why does everyone complain about the swearing? This is as real as it gets, I am happy to see something other than a PC agenda out there. This is how middle class America is, and anyone who's grown up in the country knows if you break out the A1 there's going to be a problem

I like their perspective here, it is so easy for the left (me included) to dismiss blue collar conservatives as, well, uneducated bimbos. But as the cast here points out, these are real people with genuine experiences most Americans don't understand beyond what the media portrays them as. Love this show, reminds me of when I lived on a horse ranch in eastern Washington state.

Michael Blue I appreciate what they’re trying to do. I’d say I’m more center-right so I’m may be a bit biased but you’re right, a lot of people just kind of dismiss these people as being uneducated, stupid, etc. when they’re really just like any other person you’d meet.

I love this show and I am a very liberal person. I do not care that it is about Ranchers and conservative American guys. Because that is the beauty of it. Just as Archie Bunker on AITF back in the 70 s has learning experiences, went slowly from what he believed to a bit less closed minded, it takes time to change people and their life long ideas. Beau is slowly opening his mind with the help of the women and his sons around him. Though Masterson will now be off the show. And the women on the Ranch are strong women. People say it’s sexist but absolutely not! These women hold their family together, and have an inner strength most do not. Political beliefs aside. Some women CHOOSE to stay home, I think people forget that in 2018. In the 50 Scot was forced by no more so if you are a homemaker nowdays it is most likely what you enjoy. Not a thing wrong with that. And I adore Dale, the veterinary Doctor. His character throws away all the “ old people don’t understand technology and modern media” ideas. Dale mentions social media, dancing, popular TV shows, things younger people like he is familiar with. Dale is a very old guy who is also modern and with the times in 2018. As opposed to Beau who likes to ignore such things. Those two on screen together are wonderful, as are Wingers character with Beau too. Ashton has shown in this last season ( part) to be capable of dramatic moments, realistic crying scenes, and comedy all in one. This is one of the best shows, it gets little credit from other liberals who refuse to see past things they SHOULD see past like I can.
