Most good reporters such as this have built up sources from DECADES of working in an area. So I repeat, do YOU know of a more credible source? It's easy to lob criticisms from the peanut gallery. If there are people thinking of taking a tour of places in Russia, stay home. They would not hesitate to arrest an entire group of people and hold them hostage and that would include children. The entire group would be tortured. Just stay home.

Pro-Russian journalist are being arrested too. In Poland a dual citizen journalist was arrested about a year ago, his name is Pablo Gonzales and his was arrested under allegations of espionage because he has dual citizenship both Russian and Spanish, and he is still detained today with not hopes to be free.

I’d love to go to Russia and a lot of other Central European countries to see the architecture and marvel at history... but I’m not going to go... same with Iran.... not going to go there.... similarly a couple of years ago, I was offered a job in eastern Syria. Didn’t take it.... not going there... these folk that do, must be aware of the risks that stop me, but choose to ignore them.... and this is what can happen, and again, why I won’t be going there. Don’t want to be arrested in Russia... don’t go.... there are a lot safer places to visit or work that carry less risk
