There are various sizes of Ammo dumps depending on how far from the frontline they are. Smaller ammo depots feed battalion and brigade sized units. Larger ammo dumps feeding division sized formations. Being able to strike these ammo dumps will severely complicate the Russians ability to supply their frontline units.
