Few in the MSM ever did their homework on what Harris' actual role was in managing the border crisis was - or was making her a lighting rod by design? I think this is the first time I heard anyone on CNN mention Harris was in charge of diplomatic relations with countries that are the largest source of migration and helping them curtail their people from attempting to leave. Those efforts seemed to begin paying off at the end of 2023 with border crossings having been steadily dropping every since with marked reductions coming between December and January and then again between February and March of this year with further reductions coming due to the executive order to bar illegal crossers from ever applying for asylum.

Trump calls "emergency press conference" and immediately turns to Trump rally mode. As far as answering questions, Trump does NOT. He has no answers. Just like in the "Biden debate" where, for the last 2/3rds, Trump ignored the question at issue and went a rambling. Jake and Dana were not prepared or willing to keep him on topic. Biden was expected to answer the question AND fact check the torrent of Trump lies. Really an impossible task.
