EXACTLY, that was a stupid statement from him. Her father had a 6 figure job and her mom was a salon owner in a big city, hardly qualifies as "no money." They lived in a big house and drove a Jaguar, so. Lol

I remember back in my day, if you ever give them a reason to come to your school because you were misbehaving, you better prepare to get a whooping in front of your friends and teachers. Ive seen that in public too and they do it to teach you a lesson and to show respect.

Proverbs 25 13Like a snow-cooled drink at harvest time is a trustworthy messenger to the one who sends him; he refreshes the spirit of his master. 14Like clouds and wind without rain is one who boasts of gifts never given. 15Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone. 16If you find honey, eat just enough- too much of it, and you will vomit. 17Seldom set foot in your neighbor’s house- too much of you, and they will hate you. 18Like a club or a sword or a sharp arrow is one who gives false testimony against a neighbor. 19Like a broken tooth or a lame foot is reliance on the unfaithful in a time of trouble. 20Like one who takes away a garment on a cold day, or like vinegar poured on a wound, is one who sings songs to a heavy heart. 21If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. 22In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you. 23Like a north wind that brings unexpected rain is a sly tongue-which provokes a horrified look. Proverbs 23:29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? Jeremiah 46:7 Woe to the Obstinate Nation 1“Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the Lord, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; 2who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection, to Egypt’s shade for refuge. 3But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame, Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace. 4Though they have officials in Zoan and their envoys have arrived in Hanes, 5everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them, who bring neither help nor advantage, but only shame and disgrace.” 6A prophecy concerning the animals of the Negev: Through a land of hardship and distress, of lions and lionesses, of adders and darting snakes, the envoys carry their riches on donkeys’ backs, their treasures on the humps of camels, to that unprofitable nation, 7to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless. Therefore I call her Rahab the Do-Nothing. 8Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness. 9For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction. 10They say to the seers, “See no more visions!” and to the prophets, “Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions. 11Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!” 12Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says: “Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit, 13this sin will become for you like a high wall, cracked and bulging, that collapses suddenly, in an instant. 14It will break in pieces like pottery, shattered so mercilessly that among its pieces not a fragment will be found for taking coals from a hearth or scooping water out of a cistern.” 15This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it. 16You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.’ Therefore you will flee! You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’ Therefore your pursuers will be swift! 17A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.” 18Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! Pharaoh Americo Christopher Revelation 13:11

@@magdaghirma Beyonce is a beautiful person inside and out. I'm white, and I never even thought about the colour of her skin, not EVER, not ONCE! It shouldn't have to be about ethnicity. It should be about talent, character, personality .. and Beyonce's got heaps and heaps of all of that. I love that girl and I'm in my 50s. I don't like youngish pop music, I love classical. And yet, I love Beyonce's music, Rihana's, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson .. all talented black people. I'm sick and tired of race being brought into the story each and every time there's a black person in the limelight. Honestly, most people don't care about skin colour. They just care that a person is a good soul and that she got to the top for no other reason than she deserved it.
@magdaghirma4 жыл бұрын
@@szendrich I see what you mean. But I think bringing up race is not a bad thing necessarily, she isn't a 'black artist' so much as she is a young American, black female artist and there is an influence in all these things - especially with America's history for black people and artists. I get where you're coming from, but I think it already is part of her story.
@szendrich4 жыл бұрын
@@magdaghirma The race card is overplayed and it is now getting dangerous. I'm European and we hate this narrative here. Sick and tired of it. It generates too much hate and prejudice where there is none. Beyonce would have been a star no matter what ethnic background she came from. It's in her character and personality. She is loved in my neck of the woods. Personally, I think you Americans need to heal the racial divide because if you continue in this vein you will self-destruct. Please leave the past behind and look forward. There is so much talent in black Americans, it would be a pity to focus on the negative. Yes, there will always be ignorant people who pick on superficial appearance to attack a person, but I guarantee you, the majority are as wholesome as you and I. My fear is, however, that if all this chaos continues for much longer, people of other ethnic backgrounds will rise. And where there was no hate before, it will become a reality. xx
@magdaghirma4 жыл бұрын
@@szendrich I see what you mean that it should not be the focus - especially the media narrative today where you are either for or against. There are significant cultural influences and factors but no-one's identity should be tied entirely to that. I'm not at all American btw ;)
