@@melchiorlise2466 Totally true. Now examine the data. The divorce rate, who files for divorce, the results on men in Family Court, the % of couples who are simply miserable together "cheaper to keep her". Would you buy a car that has a well over 50% chance of exploding? Honestly, most men would probably prefer the exploding car to the exploding family and the demographic data proves it. The soon to be majority of men are not dodging happiness, they are dodging misery. Less of one, more of the other. It is a rational decision.

Why is everybody so seemingly terrified about being alone? Are you really that weak, that fearful of venturing forth by yourself? If you have friends who are there for you when you need them, if you have family who love you, what else do you need? WHY do we buy into the scenario presented to us by billionaires and to which we in this filthy rotting capitalist society are brainwashed practically from birth onward that we MUST do this, we MUST do that, we MUST "marry" (even though 50% of American marriages end in divorce) and we MUST reproduce even when we can't afford kids and government does practically ZERO to help those who DO have kids, and so they're now trying to FORCE WOMEN TO HAVE KIDS THEY DON'T WANT. Those people don't give a damn about you or me, they only want more workers to produce more money for them so they can sell their junky products to them, they want them to have tons of babies and make yet more poor people for future generations so they can continue backwards to the time of slavery - and not just for Black people, folks. If you meet somebody and you both fall in love, then go for it. Leave the rest of us alone. It's not a FLAW to be single and not have kids, for pete's sake!

Idk about that xD Men seem happy not being married. Problem is not many guys aren't willing to go out for friends as they used to because of social media and games. Anything that prevents any social interaction pretty much. Another thing is that women culture has changed, and many males are not used to it or don't accept it because it is obviously one-sided. Nothing will change my mind about that, and if you think it isn't, you're insane.

@@yourfriend4104 "Another thing is that women culture has changed, and many males are not used to it or don't accept it" What has changed about women is that they have turned into men. But why should men accept women that have the mindset of a man when, according to their core identity, they are repelled by such mindset in a prospective partner? Surely women are going to realize how unsustainable it is for a society to be composed of predominately masculine women rather than predominately feminine women. Consider the following from one of the greatest living geniuses, professor Sam Vaknin, in his video called "Men’s Last Stand (Women: Listen up! and Taylor Swift)". “Women had come to identify themselves more and more in masculine terms. This is very evident in studies over the last 40 years. Women are becoming, have become, men, actually, for all intents and purposes. And so, by doing so, women have invaded the psycho-social turf, the territory of men. Not in order to obtain equity and equality but in order to challenge and supplant and replace and to substitute for men.” The fundamental problem at the root of all this is the Hegelian master slave dialectic and this problem can only be addressed at this level.

@@GuacamoleyNacho the reason St. Paul said this is because our relationship to God is the most important relationship we can cultivate in our lives. Those who are called to take up a spouse typically have sexual desires they want fulfilled and therefore, taking on a husband/wife in the sacrament of matrimony will allow said person an outlet for this disposition that is pleasing to the Lord. Those who remain unmarried and abstain from sex are able to focus more clearly on scripture and the presence of God in their lives and mortify themselves in this way. You don't even have to be a layman to take on this practice. Though it seems there's a war on marriage during this time, it is true that marriage is not the only way and there are those called to live in abstinence/chastity but, it is something that must be prayed about. Being alone doesn't have to be ostracizing it could just be in the sense of intimate relationship but, you can still be socially involved with loved ones and friends. unless of course, you choose to live as a hermit which is also not wrong. All this to say, there are varying lifestyles you can take on that can be pleasing to the Lord, it is just a matter of how you use your circumstances to glorify and grow closer to Him whether it be through marriage, singleness, or even being a hermit.

Feminism has killed respect for important jobs held by men. Example: I used to work in water purification plants and sewage. I've left, feeling like I'd never find a relationship if I stayed there. Now the field as a whole is 40% understaffed and infrastructure is crumbling. Trans-activism and feminism sucked the air out of the room, when demographics showed us that had we not listened to mor0ns who weaponize their ignorance, we should have instead double-downed on infrastructure to make sure we're ready for what is to come. Why should an individual man do the right thing, when feminism teaches women to do the exact opposite? I once saw journalists run from my explanations to automate risk management for water systems, shouting : "OH! THERE! A WOMAN ENTREPRENEUR!". That "woman entrepreneur" was selling another crappy yoga-pants-by-mail dead business model. I'm 36yo. I'm watching the world burn.

Well, as a guy from asia, I'm glad I wasn't born in America. Most women in my country are still sane, respectable and civilized. I was genuinely surprised when I had a conversation with an american woman on the internet regarding feminism, dating and politics. Most american women are just filled with hatred and anger for men. My country may not be a developed country like the US, but at least we are happy over here. I can't imagine living in a country where hatred against men is commonly accepted.

Not only women. I am a woman, 36 years old and got rid of social media two years ago. A guy, 33 years old, who spotted me in the gym searched for weeks to find me on any social media platform without success. He then asked the gym staff if they knew me. So one employee approached me and told me about him. I said, he can ask me for my number, if he wants to. So he did the next day and we started writing. And he insisted that I should send him pictures of me. When I asked him why, he said "you're not on Instagram and I want to see you." Sorry, guys. But you've become so passive, lazy and incommunicative compared to older generations of men...It's really frustrating.

I’m 36 years old, just ended a 9 year relationship two months ago. I have met some women and gone on some dates, I’ve noticed that a lot of these girls are highly influenced by feminist youtubers or tiktokers whose material is based on making women feel entitled just because! During a date, a girl said she wanted this and that and be treated like a queen and she went as far as asking me how much money I made, all on that one first date! I asked her why she was talking about all of that and she said “because I know my worth”, I asked “what do you bring to the table?” She started talking gibberish, a whole lot of nothing. i got up and said good night!

Another video bashing men and elevating women to the top. I have been single for 17 years and almost every woman that I have met online or offline has had one or four of these issues: 1. They are in bad or poor health. 2. They are living at home with their surviving parent or parents. 3. They are deeply in debt; that is student loan debt or in deep tax debt or in private debt such as credit card debt. 4. They have been ran through by so many men they have lost their sexuality. Most women who are middle-aged or elderly are not looking for real love!! They are looking for help for fixing their mistakes from previous marriages or relationships. I am not going to apologize for anything but I am not going to help any woman out here in the world fix their problems or issues that they got themselves into!!

@TheLadyaec Answer 2 is that it corresponds to the other three issues that I mentioned. I can understand taking care of elderly parents or relatives but my priority is myself and then the woman that I am with. Often times I have been accused of starting a relationship just to get a hand in an inheritance and that I am going to take everything from them. But let me tell you this!! I am a self-made man. I have my own money and I owe no favors to anyone. I go about my business; make money and help society in anyway I can. I am accused of many things. This is where I stand. I just go about my business in life.

He kind of glosses over it here, but that "Loss of the 3rd Place" thing is actually a huge goddamn deal, not only for dating but society in general. There are a few people and books who go more into depth about this topic (like NotJustBikes, Charles McMohan etc.) but basically the idea of the "3rd Place" - a place (or places) where you can regularly, easily, casually and reliably be around other people has almost been completely wiped out in the US. Or just the concept of regularly being around people who aren't your coworkers or family in general. The two leading factors of this decline are economic - working harder, longer hours for less pay and less time off, travelling more for work etc. - but also physical; we physically destroyed the concept of the "3rd Place" by designing everything around the personal automobile which is the anti-thesis of the "3rd Place" because of the physical separation it creates and space it demands. If you want to create a society of lonely, friendless, loveless people (and probably a bit sociopathic) then you really can't do any better than not only working them to the bone but also making it damn near physically impossible to casually be around people without effort.

I’m 43 and I’ve noticed this shift gradually over the last 20 years. Social media has filled the gap of social needs of many rather than actually going out and having meaningful relationships, either romantically and platonically. There is a reason we have an anxiety and depression problem in this country. A lot of people have become shut ins and some (not all of them) haven’t developed the social skills to function in a public setting and that brings a lot of anxiety to some.

It’s not that men need to be held accountable to be socially and emotionally competent. It’s because the government and all our institutions have begun to eradicate the middle class. That begins with taxation and allocation of resources. With the current trickle down economics only the elite, top 10% are seen by women as having enough resources to be a viable mate. And most men don’t have the education and career that makes them attractive to females because we, the country, the government, have not given them the economic opportunity to do so.

State and Federal laws make it next to impossible to sustain long lasting relationships. Men are punished while women are rewarded for giving up on their current relationship. Until the laws change this will continue to be the status quo of the dating criteria.

Agreed, and worse. Every traditional mate-meeting spot (schools, colleges, work, church, etc.) has been eliminated by peer pressures, policies, or harassment laws. Women can literally destroy a man with an allegation no matter how absurd, triggering armed police agents to arrest him and a myriad of state weapons to use (red-flats, domestic violence, sex assault, etc.) ranging from loss of assets, lawyers fees, loss of gun rights, and often PRISON.... Women are naturally vindictive and have huge $$$ incentives if there is marital property involved.

I stopped looking for dating simply because alot of women (not all of them) nowadays are simply not relationship material. They come in with these unrealistic expectations and standards while having a bunch of baggage or trauma from their past that you're supposed to just accept with open arms. It doesn't help that we've also made it the norm where a man simply glancing at a woman is now considered "creepy".

I have no interest in any woman that debts. diseases, or a child/children from a previous relationship unless she was widowed - the poor choices she made in the past are her responsibility - not mine

Millennial girls were extremely fearful and Gen Z even moreso, so I never even glance at them. I think a lot of guys are the same way, we just immediately look away because we don’t want them to “catch” us. The ironic thing is they are looking while we’re looking away to check where we’re looking. It’s not that we’re intimidated, it’s that we sense how fearful they are and want to reassure them.

@@tok1879 Interesting point of view and I came to a similar conclusion (although I took sex out of the equation, and I'm just happy having good friends). I found that Disney ideals don't live up to our expectations irl: either you feel trapped, or your partner feels trapped. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But maybe I just didn't meet the right guy. Not that it matters. I'm convinced people can find happiness outside the Disney model. And it's damaging to tell them otherwise.

Social media is to blame. I’m 37 years old and haven’t had sex in over two years. It’s because no one wants to take the time to get to know each other or women expect you to be what they want you to be as opposed to getting to know who you are as a person. Our society is failing men in general not just young men.

Men have lost all ability of the art of communication. I lose interest fast when a guy starts texting stupid stuff like “hey” and “wyd” and every interaction is either one word or abbreviation or he just resorts to sending pics or videos instead of asking questions trying to get to know me, or telling me anything about himself. It is like they have no freaking clue of how to even carry on a conversation or anything. This is one reason I usually try to meet people in the real world - in hopes that they aren’t so backwards socially. I just feel like these types are just trying to waste my time online because they are just bored and want to annoy someone. No communication is an absolute dealbreaker for me and I am not that hard to talk to. I just refuse to be carrying the entire conversation and only getting one word responses from an uninterested individual. If I cannot get to know you, then don’t be wasting my time. Plain and simple.

And to be honest, too many men seem to only be interested in having sex instead of actually getting to know somebody. This is another reason why I don’t bother with men who don’t communicate properly. I am not looking for sex, I am looking for a relationship.

As a man we should meet standards, much like we should have standards for women. You have been alive long enough to understand what those standards are for men and to have found a way to achieve them. It seems like men are mad that they can't find a woman for themselves. As far as "men ain't shit", as a man I feel that way about the younger generation men nowadays. They completely lack masculinity and the baseline skills that men should have.
