Too true. I'm a Canadian citizen who studied in New Delhi in the early '80s when Bhindranwale was launching his hit squads and a reign of terror began to descend on northwest India. Canadian governments have ignored India's legitimate security concerns for 40 years!! Justin Trudeau's government is the worst and needs to be outed as a state 'friend', if not outright supporter, of terrorism. I'm so ashamed of our country's leadership. The rest of the world also needs to know what is happening to and in Canada under Justin the Idiot. In addition, how could a major political party elect a Khalistani separatist as its leader, i.e. Jagmeet??? How is it in Canada's interest to support a separatist movement in another country??? Even if it was peaceful, which it was and is not. Disgusting mess that Trudeau and Jagmeet have cooked up. I feel the same as most Indo-Canadians feel: very anxious, at times angry, and completely worried that Canada is becoming the new Pakistan, a failed state, where an extremist minority has hijacked our foreign policy. Anyone who experienced the decade of Punjab violence bears those scars today; PTSD is no respecter of ethnicity, gender or even class, but a universal response to threats to life and limb.
