I had the same issue you have with only limited time to work on my layout. I solved it by retiring 😁. You have the right idea though, just grab whatever time you can. Sometimes I just walk around my layout and look at it trying to see if there are some changes I could make that would improve the layout in the future

I've definitely found as well committing small amounts of time to the layout helps the progress! Every little bit helps chips away to the final product. Especially if it's the tedious, not so glamorous parts to get them out of the way to spend more time with the fun parts!

My guess is you either "stole" the paint idea from wisco trains or seaboard central. Seabord central would be the original poster of the krylon camo soray paint.
