Wow! I don’t believe I watched this whole video. I driven on this entire stretch on this video but all not at the same time. I do enjoy the ride as it’s quite scenic but because the driver here can’t quite capture it, because he has to keep his eyes on the road. I’m can imagine that if the loop was to be connected it would be just as beautiful driving along the side of the mountains as in the beginning of this video. It’s amazing to me how much this area has grown and still growing over these past years.

I needed this video... I've been so homesick this semester. C-470 is my favorite freeway back home. I remember just how bad it was down south before the ExpressToll lanes opened... they were badly needed.

It's a belt that hasn't been buckled 😂

Great drive of co 470. This parkway is the bypass of the state and enters Denver as well

More like a 2/3, 3/4 beltway. Completing Northwest Parkway to US 36 would help. Terrain difficulties and a national wildlife refuge would force any new highway further west. And I imagine there would be significant NIMBY resistance (there's too much concrete already!). It's been built far enough out to be 40 years or so before development gets to it.

The beltway should have been finished 20 years ago. I doubt if I will see that in my lifetime.

Hey Mike, why don't you do commentary with your videos? Not all viewers are familiar with the roads you are on & commentary telling where you are would be very helpful to us. The road signs are not always clear so reading them is next to impossible, I used to watch videos done by an over the road trucker who did do commentarys with his videos that made them more enjoyable & worth watching. Yours, as they are, are not, they are very boring.

I disagree. We need videos of just the road/bridge surface sounds with no interruption of music or verbal commentary. And I appreciate that these videos are in real time. All the other "highway time lapse" channels miss the mark on this. These videos are calming and help me to chill out after a hard day of work. I appreciate that Mike is one only a couple channels to do this. He provides commentaries on road planning and construction on his other channel.
