This fits in so naturally. DE needed proper co-op support along with other traditional MP components like death match and Snap Map for custom levels and campaigns. Doom Eternal is a game missing out on so many opportunities.

Both players respawn back at the beginning of the map and must redo whatever combat encounter(s) they died in. There are checkpoint portals that will take you close to where you died.
