Finding out this morning that Wholesomeverse played our demo is the best thing to happen this week, month, and probably year. If anyone has any questions about Hellcard I will be delighted to answer, I'm one of the devs!

Will you be able to give your companions a starting relic in the full game?

@@somedude8728 you will be meeting companions as you play - they will have different personalities (for example you could meet two warriors but one will be a berserker and the other paladin, meaning that one would build an aggressive deck and the other would go for blocks and support). You will be able to compose your team as you see fit and they will offer cards they pick for you to play. Singleplayer will be very different from co-op! Having that said to answer your original question - some companions might start with artifacts but these will be pre-picked based on their character.

@@somedude8728 when you pick a card from hand other players see it hover above your avatar. If it's aimed card they also see which enemies you highlight.

Deatheater card can increase infinity in one round. If good card in late game when every enemy have so much HP and the summoner only summon high hp enemy. You should have at least have 1 of them then the short sword. ❤️❤️❤️

A little late here, but that literally hurt my soul when he didn’t take the Deatheater Sword lol … I was like, “Why? That infinitely scales damage!” Each time it’s 3 attack stronger, you could sail through early game and still be relevant in the late game.

Hellcard can be my longest wishlist game. I really liked book of demons so i have to give it a chance atleast But i didnt same replayable vibe from it most of it because you are fighting in the same arena constantly

This game is neat. Played the demo, definitely something I"ll be playing with friends. Solo was difficult as hell, especially the x3 Skeleton Necromancer fight that endless summon ADS.

Fun idea for a co-op game. Some of the cards in the demo are way too OP... the extra draw / mana cards basically. You turn 1 turn into 2 'turns' with one card. The cards in the demo don't seem balanced, you just go for the +6 cards and you win. Like having Bill and Professor Oak (trainer cards) in an original Pokemon TCG deck.

Warrior seems so underwhelming. I felt bad for Reto as he played 2 damage attack cards while everyone else was playing several cards a turn, doing all sorts of whacky things like freezing the whole map, marking enemies and whatnot. The card choices weren't particularly exciting either, 3 damage that grows on lethal is good, but not exciting. I definitely would've picked it at least once, because getting the lethal for it would be pretty easy, so it could scale quickly. At least Reto got a fun interaction with Reflection and his Retaliation ability.
