If CO2 levels drop could that indicate a switch to anaerobic respiration in the hypoperfused tissues (e.g. brain tissue). Could this also potentially explain why oxygen levels rise in the blood over time bc less is being used in aerobic respiration. Have you ever run this test measuring lactate levels concurrently as an indicator of cellular metabolism balance?

My daughter believes she has a condition known as depersonalization-derealization. She basically feels like she is looking through a window all the time. Something in my gut tells me it has to do with her blood flow or maybe what you mentioned in this video, rather than a mental health disorder. She went to 2 cardiologists due to concerns about POTS, but neither would do a tilt test. It was very frustrating and exhausting because each appointment took three months to get into the see the doctors. So, basically no help whatsoever! Please let me know if you have any thoughts about the condition and possibility of any relationship. Thank you for your time.

You can do POTS test yourself. Have your daughter lay down for about 10 minutes then take her pulse and blood pressure . Right after that have her stand up and take her pulse and blood pressure right away. If her pulse went up from laying to standing position more then 30 beats then she has POTS. Also her blood pressure can get lower or higher also it depends on what type of POTS she has. Not every cardiologist specializes in POTS. You need to find Electrophysiologist Cardiologist they know about POTS and take your notes with you. Hope that helps
