Sr. I must say, you are one of the few that goes directly to the point and give detailed (and standard) settings based on your machine, so that give us an idea what settings will work on our machine. Most others, ... you know, may even talk about the cat they saw when buying the tools, just to extend the video. Thanks. Best regards, A new follower.

Awesome video, thank you for not dragging the video out and for sharing your settings. It is appreciated

That is kinda my goal moving forward. Be as to the point as I can and share as many settings as I can! There will be some videos that require more in dept stuff, but for the most part, we like to keep it short! Thanks for your input!

This is a great video and just what I was looking for! I just bought a CO2 laser and I am interested in projects like this. Thank you for the head start!

I tried cold galvanized spray on bare metal. It worked well. I need to play around more with my settings as I’d like it a bit darker but it’s only 10 dollars a can vs the expensive stuff.

Very cool! Yeah, that would be much cheaper for sure!!

Do you recommend any type of oil for the exposed metal?
@malonecustomdesigns8 ай бұрын
Depending on the product, you could add some 3 in 1 oil if you were worried about it...but to be honest...all of the products that we have done have never rusted. At least not for any of the stuff that we have made for ourselves or displays.

I have a 55w co2 laser and can’t get this to work on brass jewelry blanks for necklaces. Ive got the spray but don’t know which way to go with the settings. Any suggestions?

I haven't tried brass on the CO2....I have heard it can be tricky. This guy was able to do it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJTXknuOeZWahs0

So how are the low level diodes colorizing stainless steel with no marking sprays ?
@malonecustomdesigns Жыл бұрын
Diode lasers are a different wavelength which allows that. I don't have any experience using one of those.

@@malonecustomdesigns I tried with my C02 Polar 350. I can get black and some yellow. Its on SS 316 1/8 thick 2 inch round circles. Black tho is kinda brown looking. I'll play more. My Ortur LM2 which I can' recall what watt it is. I think 15 but not sure I couldn't get it to mark at all.

Crystal clear explanation.👍🏼. Do you know if this will work on a brass shell casing?
@malonecustomdesigns2 жыл бұрын
I have seen people use marking spray on shell casings from a military funeral service. They looked really cool. I have never tried them.
