I only bought 2 bags with saffiano leather 😅 1 from Coach and another from Dooney, definitely not my kind of "leather" 😅 even the pebbled it's not my fav and only have it cause its fantastic for the "work bags" 😁 my fav leather its the "leather leather" I mean the calf and lamb skin 😍 every leather with plastic on top when you touch it you don't feel the leather, and with saffiano you don't even know if it's leather under that coat 🤷🏼‍♀️ exactly why I also don't like epi 🙈 or I buy leather knowing and feeling its leather, or 1 buy canvas knowing I'm buying plastic 😶

I just purchased In black and love it. It’s durable and has enough room for what I use it for. Def love the price point as I was going to get the LV speedy nano 25 but that price kept me from getting it once I saw the Rowan. I prefer pebbled leather also but since the mini Rowan is a grab and go every day bag for me I love it. Thanks for your review.

I have it in the embossed 1941 red leather, and love it. It holds more than I thought, and looks cute on display when not being used. Mine was the older style with the front zipper.

It’s so pretty! I understand though. I tried this bag as well in the black and returned it too. It was just a little too small. Got most of my essentials in it, but the opening made it hard for me to access them. Plus I have a Dooney bag similar to it in black so I didn’t need it. Next! TFS xoxo

This might help. I read, beware of saffiano, epi & embossed. They often use lesser grades of leather that they cover with treatment. And I now avoid coated canvas since Tanner Leathersmith called it glorified plastic. Land mines in purse world. 💥🌻

Andrea, it’s a beautiful color but I get it with it being a little more of stiff leather. It’s a good choice for you to return. I love my small bags but when it’s a stiffer leather on a small bag like that it would be difficult to get your hand in and out because there is very little give. Best to return. Now you can look for something else 😂😂TFS 👛🛍️🙏🚢

Don't feel bad, I am not a fan of the mini rowan, don't know why. Just never clicked with me. The crossgrain or Saffiano on the bag is very visible maybe due to color so I can see feeling like blah. There are plenty more in the handbag ocean :)

If you are not sure about thhe size, I say return it. I love small bags but hate saffiano leather also. That looks like the cross grain leather, not saffiano.
