Defense wasn’t that good. They knew the Falcons were running the ball but couldn’t stop it. Cousins was terrible and that’s what kept the game somewhat close. Raiders only moved the ball when falcons defense went to prevent. If falcons had an average qb tonight instead of Cousins this game wouldn’t of been close at all

I hope for all of you hoping that the Raiders “tank” the rest of the season get what you’re hoping for.. getting a first round QB doesn’t guarantee anything.. (this QB class isn’t that good) look at the history behind this.. most don’t turn out.. I hope the Raiders turn this around.. tanking is not what I believe in, I want the Raiders to win every week. I like Ridder...I like how quick he backs up and sets...I like how he throws a big play to Mayer in the first quarter who let it thump off his shoulder...seriously, I have no confidence in Mayer...and really can't stand him after the last three games...Ridder should have been given a chance to score some points at the end of the first half...they set themselves up to lose, and this last effort at the end to say "we tried.." that just looks like total failure from top to bottom in the context of this game....the coaches didn't give Ridder the best chances to win this game..in all phases...Ridder dealt with the rush better than any of the QBs on this roster...the offensive line is too soft..

The only reason Ridder looked good near the end of the game is because the Falcons started playing soft defense. They rushed 3 defenders. That's it. Had the Falcons played to crush our offense at the end, Ridder would've looked like crap, like he did throughout the game.

@@G360LIVE ..and they were pushing lineman backwards only rushing three..I guess you didn't catch what I said about that ball that should've been caught in the first quarter; after they made a big stop they just turn around and give it back...then lose the field position battle, then call some really bad plays on their own goal line...people talked about Getsy and his play calling ..THAT was bad play calling ...of course, before that they fumbled....there was that horrible call by the refs on Spillane....so what do you if you are the Raiders? you certainly don't just waste the time you have left in the first half with your timeouts...with someone like Ridder, who I would've expected to rally back and get them to score..they didn't even give him a chance at the end of the first half..

Only reason this game was close was Kirk Cousins. He looks scared to death to throw it. Raiders knew they were going to run the ball yet Falcons ran it successfully. If Falcons had an average qb this game would have been over by the 3rd quarter. Raiders looked unprepared and undisciplined as usual. They did everything they could to actually lose but Cousins matched them m. Been a lifelong fan since 1976 and I never want to see any of my teams in any sport lose but right now tanking is the best thing possible for this team
