ABBA is one of those band's that was so cool that you knew they knew they were all that. Never mind the fact they could sing. Today most "singers" would sound like nails on a chalk board if not for the dreaded Auto-Tune. Thanks Coach that was great.

So nice to see you again reaction to more ABBA songs in your ABBA Journey "Take a chance on me" (1978) is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. one of their four Top10 in US : #6 Waterloo (1974) #1 Dancing Queen (1977) #3 Take a chance on me (1978) #8 The winner takes it all (1981) also their 7th #1 single in UK (3th consecutive after "Knowing me knowing you" & "The name of the game") This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music (They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end, without instrumental parts, it's fantastic) the blonde singer Agnetha is the lead vocal in the solo verses, her voice is so powerful, in perfect armonies and chorus with the brunette Anni Frid in co-leads vocal (and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance') Agnetha & Frida have fantastic voices and harmonies together Agnetha is soprano , Frida is mezzo soprano and together made an iconic unique 'third voice' the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging, by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt and adapted it to "take a chance, chance, take a chance", so the song was born Although it is a disco europop, it's like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying, addictive if I could give You a suggestion for next reaction, take another review in all "ABBA The Álbum" (my favourite) release at the same time with "ABBA The Movie" in 1977, is a Masterpiece of versatility in each song you did before "The name of the game" and have two great official videos to "Thank you for the music" (Agnetha in leads) & "One man one woman" (Frida in leads) I wish you a greatest new week My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 South América

This song one of my top favs ! really timeless still sounds great today, just pure fun. I had a soft spot for Frida as well. I unfortunately did not get to see their concert when the USA in 1979 and man I wanted to so bad. Jump ahead 40 yrs and when Voyage album and concert came to be I was not going to miss this one. First opportunity got my fight to London and tickets to three shows. Enjoyed it immensely, it helped fill that missing part of being a fan.

Yes, ABBA was a great stadium live band, check out their concerts in Australia to see it. Two IKEA chairs and a typical classroom piano, that's how a music video was done back then!😃❤️🇸🇪 As a Frida lover you should listen to her solo song "Ett liv i solen" (A life in the sun), you'll love it❤

Frida is a classic beauty. Agnetha's pretty and blonde. To each his own. Frida is gorgeous. And as far as dancing goes, one of her producers said that when Frida was on stage she was like a Feral cat you never knew what she was going to do.

@@chrishaas2376 Ha! That's for sure regarding Frida! She could get pretty wacky on stage! Aside from her huge vocal talent, having read about Frida's difficult upbringing and challenges with self esteem in the beginning, it is wonderful that she finally found her confidence on stage - much more than Agnetha generally, as even Agnetha admitted - and that Frida got so much joy on stage. However, for me, Frida's dancing was as hit and miss as her clothing and hairstyle choices - I know many ABBA fans view Frida as "the dancer" in the group, but while she was certainly enthusiastic, I find a lot of her moves pretty cringe-worthy. Agnetha knew her limits and for me worked better within them - she moved more subtly and sensually, which even their choreographer spotted early on. Frida bops up and down to the beat which I know many find entertaining; Agnetha moved more sensually to the rhythm which I happen to find more eye catching :-)

Speak only for yourself and not for "most of us" as if you know the taste of every person in the world and as if you have counted their opinions. And don't start again to tell us about the 70's statistics and tabloid newspaper articles. They are long outdated. And when you really think that they are both beautiful and talented then why do you always rank them and put Agnetha above Frida?

@@Lisa-M again you? well every time I comment on a video I react and talk about Agnetha, you come out criticizing that because I talk better about Agnetha than about Frida, I already told you if you prefer Frida that's fine it's your choice, that's why you chose to have her as a profile photo on your account, I speak for myself and for the majority because although it hurts you, it is true, there are so many people who like Agnetha than Frida and it does not have to be bad, it is people's preference, I see all the reactions and the comments usually say that, either It's just that there are a lot more people who prefer Agnetha, there are just a little more, let people give their opinions and see tastes in a bad way, ABBA is the best group that has ever existed and each member is also, not all of us like it. You have to like each member equally, starting with you who in your profile tells us that you prefer Frida and I don't see anyone who criticizes you for preferring her, I know youtubers who react to ABBA and some of them like Frida more and that's fine, I just do notice that she most often prefers Agnetha, and it is as a KZbinr ("Bars and Barbells") said when they reacted to the Mamma Mia video, that Agnetha's blonde hair and her physique can attract more attention and pay more attention to her in the videos, just don't take it personally, and I will continue to do it in every video and respond to you if you comment on my comments, I would never censor you like you intend to do.

We all like ABBA, but we also have our favorites, and that's perfectly fine, so why do Agnetha fans feel the need to keep saying, "Most of us like Agnetha better" with every video? Why are they emphasizing the majority thing? Does it make Agnetha fans feel better that Frida might have fewer fans than Agnetha? Does it matter that much to you? It's not rocket science that people are more attracted to a blonde, blue-eyed woman - it always has been and always will be. It doesn't bother any Frida fan. The point is that Agnetha's fan base is often so negative, judgmental, and downright mean in their comments towards Frida. I don't understand why they get so much hatred. As much as I love Frida, I also love Agnetha and can appreciate her qualities.

That’s not true. I only have a problem that you constantly want to tell us that Agnetha is better than Frida in everything and you are even lying to back it up. Don’t deny it, your comments are the proof for that and all can read them. One example is your assertion that Frida didn’t have success as a solo artist which is absolutely not true. This comment only shows that they don’t have a clue that this „Sweden blonde“ is not her naturally hair colour. Seems that even you don’t know that she always dyed her hair and still does. And if they want to say that Frida is not physically attractive then they are either blind or as ignorant as so many Agnetha fanatics.
