Thanks for the advice on gunmetal chipping. I contacted a Coach shop in the UK about the issue with gunmetal chipping, they denied any knowledge and apparently they don’t replace hardware. Not good for a £395 bag. The leather is immaculate but metal is now chipped. 😢

I believe Vachetta leather just refers to untreated leather and believe you are right it is likely calf.

Thanks - that's what I thought, but this is colored black and also called vachetta, so that confuses me!?! 🥰

@@myluxurycloset529 maybe adding pigment or dye doesn't't count as treated? Leathers are dyed separate from different leather treatments. I understand the confusion though.
