Hi Coach Bob and Coach Vic, I really enjoyed this video of Daytona Bike week. I have never been there. I ride an o4 Ultra classic and the winters here in northern Ohio are usually unpredictable around the time of bike week and my bike is usually not out of storage in my garage at that time so seeing this has been great. I am considering a RT limited in the future as my knees are giving me trouble with the weight of the Harley. At 67 I guess that's to be expected. You two are a blessing to watch. Keep up the great work.

Next time you travel through Barberville you should stop at that place on the corner with all the yard decorations. They have some really interesting items for inside and outside of the house, things you would never imagine. Moved to NC from FL several years ago but I recognised many places you rode past and it brought back some good memories. Safe travels.

Buffer Butt had a lot of really nice stuff. They even had monogrammed covers. The guy took our number. He said if she didn't like it after our long trip that he'd take it back and refund us...no questions asked. That won't be the issue..I Know that...we ended up getting a large.. all of their stuff was super high quality..Coach Vic liked the gel. It was a tad thinner and less prone for her to "drag" as she transferred. I think she got the "pebble" material as well. She is even putting it over her seat cushion on her chair some. I'm glad to see others have heard of them. Cheers!!!

I have an Egg Sitter for my truck seat at work. Bought it on line for about 25.00. No more sore butt for me! I drive about 230 to 250 miles every day at work. My company is like a small/big company, we’re located in 7 states in the Midwest. So I’m like a UPS-FedX driver. My route is in the farmlands of upper middle Illinois. Been a rider my whole life. My last bike was a Valkyrie, miss that bike. I had a major stroke about 4 years ago and the only lingering problem is my balance is still off! Wife and I use to ride a lot, but she knows my balance isn’t good anymore. She wouldn’t want to be my passenger and I don’t blame her. However I drive my truck many miles every day and it’s not a problem. I think the Can Am may be the perfect soulition to my balance issue. Haven’t mentioned to my wife yet but plan to soon! We use to ride a lot with her cousin and her hubby. They have a big Ultra Classic Harley. Next summer might be my timeframe for a purchase. Her cousin lost her Daughter to Breast Cancer this year and she has not been herself! Her Daughter was only in her early 40’s and had 2 young (college age girls). The girls are really great kids and seem to be handeling this better than Grandma. I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to loose one of our 4 kids!! Any way, been subbed for a few weeks and enjoy you guys blogs!👍🏻

Salutations again from down the road in Crawfordville, great videos. Wondering if other two-wheelers acknowledge you guys on the Spyder with cyclist waves. I ride a Honda NC700DCT and Burgman 400 and always get waves on the Honda, but a mixed bag on the scooter. For myself, I always try to acknowledge other cyclists on the road, even the smaller scooters.
@CoachBob34 жыл бұрын
Twang I definitely get much fewer waves from our HD brethren..the low wave... everyone else seems to be pretty receptive to the Spyder. I’m from south GA so I wave and/or nod to everybody anyway. 😂😂

Good video as usual, you really do know your motorcycles. By the way, I did not miss the $6 can of beer plus big tip at Froggy's. That goes back a few years never to return. :>) Cool seeing all those Spyders.....
@CoachBob34 жыл бұрын
Bill Williams everything gets quite “pricey” at bikeweek for sure. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of CanAm Spyders we saw. We talked to as many of the Spyder folks as we could find. They were all very open and excited about their machines. With that type of pride in ownership..the numbers are just gonna keep growing. 👍👍👍👍
@billwilliams95274 жыл бұрын
Agree for sure, could be three wheels is best kept secret 'getting out', my best to you and Coach Vic that girl is a trooper, and you with the smile an great attitude. We take ours in soon for 'short reach' bars, actually the f3's vs the tri axis on previous models, and a brake pedal build up so Miss Millie can reach it comfortably. She wants to get her endorsement so she can enjoy driving this thing of beauty. So she says, "why should I have all the fun". :>)

..sales are definitely down. The CEO stepping down was certainly not a good sign. I think they’re limping but will be ok...at least for the short term. I think HD has to do something about their price point vs. features. I love that they are thinking outside of the box. But, many of my older hardcore enthusiasts, disagree with me. Fingers crossed...hoping for their success.

Great vid Coach! How does the Spyder handle those "Grate Bridges"? I know on the scoot, it's like riding on ice. I automatically go in the first stage of "Butt Puckering" when I see them coming up.

That was pretty much the consensus of every HD person I spoke with over the age of 45. They are aiming for a new market/demographic. The life of the brand is depending on it.. So many motorcycle companies sells are down..millennials just don't want to ride. But as for me...I wanna ride all 3. I'm always up for some 2 wheel playtime on something new. That said..I want to own an old panhead...hahaha
