Please do a video for improving judgment and getting in position. Looking at others it always seems they have forever to choose a shot and get in position after the ball is released but being in the nets myself it feels like a reaction to every ball unless it is a spinner

Do we close or open the bat face on impact like a flick or alter our backlift to hit the ball with an open face?
