It's pretty normal and fairly standard to do that for casual players IMO. They are just too focused on the game itself(from purely mechanical standpoint) so they forget about the macro stuff like vision/objectives/watching the map etc. Difference between silver and diamond is basically just that + they usually main 1 or 2 champions.

Toast might be the type to benefit from watching replays. It's a lot easier to see and understand your mistakes when you're not actively playing and can pause the game to see what happened and where you go wrong. In the moment, toast seems to just not know his options and in fights his pathing is definitely questionable, in general there's a lot of random walking around instead of going straight towards where he wants to be. I think replays are very good at helping someone see and acknowledge those specific issues among others.
