Harbor player here… here’s some more tips… 1. Use his cove to get past unbreakable cypher trips… 2. You can stop his high tide early by right clicking, so you can get past chamber and kj trips very easily. 3. Jump peeking out of and back into the cove gives you free information. Every time. You can’t get spammed cause cove will block bullets. 4. Boing boing = 2k every single time

It's actually a glitch that's never been patched. It also tends to work more often if you're a defending yoru. It's very unpredictable but it has saved me and my teammates a couple times.

Here's some advice for the deadlock mains! Consider learning ult lineups for post plant situations! Just like brim and sova using your ult can help stall or make a 2v1 post plant and easy 1v1 stall situation! There's also a lot of interesting tech you can learn on her for each ability! She's not as 1 dimensional as some people may say she is! (Tilted trips, ceiling trips, wallboost, one way walls, ult lineups, nade lineups, nade combos, etc etc.) Konpeki does make a good point with retaking wall lineups! They can be kind of hard to find or use but they are useful!

Also her nades can act as taking info. If you throw her nade into a random corner that the enemy could hide, their immediate reaction usually is to remove the wire. When they tried to remove the wire it will create an audiothat can tell you how much enemy is there based on the amount of audio played

Another deadlock main adding to this. If you're in high elo and/or establish that you have post plant lineups for spike, the sound of your ult on tap will 9/10 get them to run away to avoid being shot. If you can get away with it, ult on first tap to stall for time, and shoot on the second instead.

Another tip for clove I just found out by messing around in custom games. Clove can get info for the team after she dies. If you smoke after you die the “enemies blocked” message pops up so you team know where the enemy is. Can be useful in clutch situations.

Deadlock tip: Your wall is sometimes better at keeping people trapped in instead of locking them out. Since you can throw your wall learn some lineups that allow you to throw your wall behind where your enemies are. (Like throwing it through a TP on Bind to trap enemies in either Hookah or Showers). This lets your team util dump on the enemies while they're trapped in a small space, giving them very little room to dodge breach stuns, raze nades, etc.

i don't think people believe that phoenix's molly heals more. it's just more difficult to see through the wall and can actually give your enemy the advantage if your gun peaks out while you're trying to shoot lol

since the omen tip was kinda meh have an actually useful niche tip: you can use omen ult to grab guns, this is especially useful on ecos to get a gun! (best use for omen ult on smaller maps esp) a more niche one is that omen smokes block flashes while they are blooming (weird, but it does exist) one final common one but i don't see it used often enough, YOU CAN THROW OMEN SMOKES OFF OF THE GROUND, throw them in the air for a temp one way, or to set up a really agro tp

I think the thing with deadlock is that shes almost more like a Controller without smokes than a Sentinel. Shes really good in teamfights and taking the site, and her sensors are really only useful when youre near them and can play around them, no good flank is gonna get hit by em anyways.

2:44 The reason Viper's wall extends slightly past is because the line on the minimap is drawn between where the first emitter (the thing at the bottom) of the wall is and where the last one is, not where the wall actually starts and ends, probably because when they were first adding her to the game they forgot to add an offset since the spots where the emitters land isn't where the wall actually ends up

I think he says that because KJ mollies aren't necessary at all during pistol because most enemies are at 100 HP, unlike the other agents who would probably benefit from classic/ghost + shield/util Since you can put your turret flank to watch it, buying a sheriff during pistol rounds on attack becomes pretty viable for KJ

Time to get mad and type an essay about why deadlock is good!!! Deadlock isnt even bad atm, one of the better sentinels, i'd even go as far as saying shes better than kj (quote me on that, because im not changing my mind). Shes definitely better than chamber sage and vyse, with vyse being one of the weakest agents ever added, probably being the weakest in the game right now. Honestly, i think deadlock has the most tech in the game, more than yoru or omen, and i think you couldve made your list alot longer or at least a bit more in depth, you had so many options to talk about: Wallboosting, different setups, how to use trips effectively on defence AND attack, ways about getting aggressive on defence, being an initiator on attack (on par as other initiators), how to lock down space and stall retakes, ult lineups for post plant and stealing the bomb planter on defence, why the gravnet is one of the most broken abilities in the game (if not the most broken, also quote me on that, you cant change my mind). But if you had to say anything about deadlock, please talk about wallboosting, it needs to be talked about more and given more credit because of how good it is (check out Elok, Gibyn, Boni or Locked for a heap of videos on deadlock and videos explaining setups, lineups and wallboosting and every reason why deadlock is the best and why shes still just misunderstood even after an entire year past release, yall r just bad, git gud) 😊 Praise Deadlock, my Queen.

I actually agree with you. Deadlock is far better than Vyse. Vyse needs a huge buff in ult and a small buff in her molly to be able to even compare with deadlock. Deadlock's sonic sensors are deadly if you use them correctly. Make enemies fully insecure about pushing a map too hard.

How can you be that good in the game and still not know that the toxin screen only extends, if it crosses non-accessable areas of the map? it needs to land on something in order to get placed. So if the next wall part cant land on an object of the map, the placing alogorythem takes the next on and so on. However this only works if the last part of the wall would actually hit the accessable area of the map. If it doesnt you always get a smaller wall.

Instead of placing the Sage Wall only infront of the Spike like shown in the video, place it right on the spike so the middle thing gets destroyed. If you do it like this, you have wall infront of you AND wall behind you so you got better cover. ez defuse

Not really useful unless you're surrounded though, in which case how the fuck did you get to spike through a crossfire? In most cases, you're just trying to defend against a single main-spam setup, and using the full length toward that side is more helpful than only a section or two just so you can have the other section or two being useless behind you.
