Another brilliant review there Karina. The one thing we miss that was on our Coachman was the 240v outlet on the nearside. It saved us having to run an extension into the awning through the window.

Superb review, your best to date. That’s an expensive van but it looks class, Coachman are always more expensive, but you have to pay more for that quality.

Absolutely class caravan. Not that I'm biased or anything... I must say I dislike the twin front lockers, but its still better than Bailey which have nothing at all. I like proper front lockers! Quite expensive, but the single axle VIP's are as good, and cost less. Coachman VIP and Lasers are wider than most caravans at 7ft7 (apart from the newly introduced 8 footers) which is why it feels plenty wide enough.

Hi Karina, excellent review👍we have the 575 which is the single wheel model with all same features and worth look at. We did a review on our 575 on our channel. We keep our waste master and barrel in boot of our car.cheers Rob😀

Good review as always. Disappointed withthe bed. Only 6'2" not good for the likes of Jules and me. Like the shower. It looks huge. Nice touch with Sun's on the spotlights.

We were really impressed with this van and the ‘quality’ feel which is hard to get across in a video as with the width. I’m with you on the bed but I suppose you have to have a cut off somewhere and for people who aren’t as tall as us would want the extra space so it’s horses for courses. 😊😊👍👍.

We bought the 2017 model .Erected the awning it starts to rain water runs down undet the awnig rail for 6 feet approx . Complained to Coachman no response. .

Sorry to hear that, in heavy or continued rain you might get rain coming in on the join on the awning rail but only a small amount at the one point. It should be coming in along 6 ft of rail, sounds like the rail isn’t afixed fully. 😕 Karina

@@HereWeTow no offer of a solution from Gl------ or Coachman customers services .Supplied pictures of same but contact from coachman just stopped. Called at Wand---- our local dealers who told me to live with it I consider it unfit for purpose Wish I'D never bought it.

That will have knocked your confidence in them, such a shame, you should be able to enjoy your caravan, not be worrying about rain water. There is a thread about this on Caravan Talk about 2017 models like yours. It doesn’t clarify what the fix was but I only had a quick look. 😊

Good review we are comparing to Swift elegance 645. Coachman Questions Video says 1900kg But brochure MTPLM is 1800? Which is right ? Not sure of glass cover to sink, catching the tap? rather have removable work top chop board ? , enamel sink looks cheap n tinny? Sink tap in bathroom seems to stick out too far and get in way of using rather small sink Is it a Dometic loo? Other reviewers point out the loo lid does not fold right back when seated. and the fill point seems to be recessed , awkward to fill And no measure on the cassette for fluid? Err light switches on the lights are they reachable when seated ? And is there a dimming feature ? Front table shelf and pull out way better than Swift but are there USB there? Don’t think so How does the control panel compare to swift command? Has it more or less on board water Capacity compared to Swift 645? No cycle rack fitting or is there ? Not sure of construction materials used in sides (Alu?) or floor material ( is there timber there?) question over how it’s built is main concern for us re this model But really like the contemporary / functional design , kitchen lay out and it being slightly wider the longer bed without going to 8 foot wide is main reason looking at this one. Cabinet work seems a little more robust on coachman compares to Swift, 645? Slightly less wardrobe compared to swift? We have a swift elegance 480 but look to get a fixed bed and more room for longer trips Swift 645 is familiar facility and control panel wise , slightly lighter but shorter bed is a major issue ?, balanced by more hanging storage cycle rack and command system although doesn’t seem as well screwed together cabinet wise, smaller wire basket pull outs? Really tough to decide what comes out on top For both minor things missing from top of the rand models might be Coachman why not insulate one of the front lockers to facilitate dry boots n shoes ? Swift and Coachman , heated bathroom mirror ? The extra cost is minimal and makes it useable ? Not bothered about speakers in the bathroom? Where there’s a corner dressing/ telly table in bedroom why not a corner cupboard above with mirror Rather than mirror on the wall where it’s out of the line of sight? The vid was a great review but a bit sparse on some factual Tec detail to help one compare , I’m sure it’s hard to get the balance of showcasing vs functional review as folks want to hear different things Hope my buyers angst comparative questions help for future .....keep up the good work

Thank you for watching and asking the questions, the MTPLM is 1800kg or can be upgraded to 1900kg for extra payload. The toilet is dometic and I don’t know about any issues when trying to use it. The Swift Command seems a good system if you like gadgets and technology, if not its not going to offer you much more than the Coachman controls. The Swift is available in the 8ft wide which the Coachman isn’t, again it depends how much space you want. Both are nice caravans but with big price tags. With regards to glass and the sink, until you try it for real it is very hard to see if any issue would be caused, I havent seen any complaints on the owners groups which is always a good place to go and ask questions. If we were choosing out of the two it would be the Coachman. It appeared to have a better build quality overall and felt like more van for the money. For information Adria launch their new range in a few weeks and they are possibly bringing this layout to their top end line. We are keen to see if they do. Many thanks for the additional info, on these caravans we are about at the limit of what we can tow with BMW X3 so max weight is a key thing for us thanks for clearing it up We have swift elegance 480 which is great in some ways like always it’s a compromise , price , function, Build quality and utilisation Tempted to go bigger to get fixed bed for long trips but might give the smaller van a go a bit longer 👌

S H As Jules has pointed out standard MTPLM is 1800kg, when you purchase you can pay for an up-rated plate 1900kg, it's not expensive. Which is great as it gives you extra carrying capacity but you need to take that extra weight into account with your tow car. It has to have the power and stability to tow the van. I drive a Mercedes SUV, an excellent match as the nose-weight limit is higher than most at 150kg and I find the 675 more enjoyable to tow with a higher nose-weight, it reduces the amount of pitching. No problems with the toilet or any of the appliances so far....

Geo many thanks my max is 1800 really with BMW X3 One u tuber mentioned the lid of the loo does not fold back all the way so when seated it’s on ones back , the cap to the cassette does not double as a chem measure and the filler for cistern seems awkward as recessed BUT I guess that’s being real picky and I don’t really bother to measure chem anwyay😉 Does it take a bike rack on the back and how do u find the wardrobe space .....adequate or tight Many thanks Stu

@@SH-xq4dq Never noticed any issue with the loo lid, also use tablets rather than liquid blue, saves any need to measure. Spot on about filling the cistern, it's recessed and difficult you need a watering bottle with extra long spout, problem solved.
