Relationship Red Flags: Things You Should Never Do for a Woman **Summary:** This video explores red flags in relationships, highlighting actions men should avoid when dealing with women. Key points include: 1. **Problem Fixing:** Men should not feel obligated to fix all of a woman's problems, especially if it involves taking on too much responsibility or if she plays the victim. 2. **Unilateral Pursuing:** In a healthy relationship, both parties should contribute to pursuing each other. Men should avoid doing all the pursuing, as it signals an imbalance. 3. **Pre-Marital Intimacy:** Giving a woman "wife privileges" before marriage is cautioned against, as intimacy should be earned through the highest form of commitment-marriage. 4. **Self-Esteem Dependency:** Men should not become the sole source of a woman's self-esteem. Healthy self-esteem should be cultivated individually. 5. **Avoiding Abuse:** Men should never tolerate being used as a "scratching post," enduring unkind treatment or criticism. Respectful, loving behavior is essential. **Conclusion:** The video underscores the importance of recognizing and avoiding toxic relationship dynamics. Men are encouraged to seek relationships with supportive, loving women and not compromise their self-respect. For further guidance, the audience is invited to explore the free master class for strategies and insights.

That awesome Melanie, that you stand with your faith and not the media. I have been single for years as a result of a poor relationship. Trusting that the other person was on the same page. But, it turned out that they were being selfish and had ulterior motives. Wow!! Was I blindsided. My ex-wife has been married once before me to an alcoholic and twice after me. Why is it easier for women to get hitched than it is for a man. I have worked hard for what I have and am not willing to give it up again for someone who doesn't doesn't know how to have a loving committed relationship. I love to sing, too. Hope you get to feeling better.

The problem with solving problems for women is that when women tell us their problems - we assume she wants help with them. Men don't ask each other for help with problems unless they want advice. Therefore the male default is that they believe women want advice when they tell us their problems. Women need to know this when they start getting advice when they only wanted to vent. If a woman starts getting advice she didn't want when she wants to vent - she probably doesn't know how hard-wired men are to rescue those in distress. So when she tells us our problems we'll be more inclined to jump to the default conclusion unless otherwise educated. If you want your male friend or partner to listen when you need to vent you need to let your male partner a number of times before they understand that you don't always need us to solve problems. In fact if your man doesn't make this mistake then you're probably communicating extremely well - either that or the guy's mother actually taught this to him. There's no way that it's instinctive in men to know that you need to vent. We do the opposite when we solve our problems. We go into a cave & don't come out until we've solved our problem. When we come out of our cave we don't need to talk about anything because we got the solution we are looking for. If women don't learn that about men they'll have trouble stopping their man from making blunders he has no idea he's making.
@zydoos566310 ай бұрын
I don't think she was saying its a turn off I am pretty sure she meant if you are solving all her problems for her as she plays the victim card she is toxic because she is just using you
@bassface858010 ай бұрын
I definitely feel this problem solving thing. It stressed me out trying to fix things that wasn't my problem just because I cared for the woman I was with and I couldn't help think she's venting all this to me because she wants some help or guidance. She was always down and I'd try to bring her back up which drained my energy. Eventually I had to say I'm sorry I can't do this anymore. she was a lovely girl but yeah...
@علي-ش7ث8ب9 ай бұрын
That's from the point of view of men,from the female point of view,women think that talking about their problems will solve everything so when men give them advices,they hate it because advice needs effort and they don't want to make the effort.

Coach Melannie... What is consistent looks, followed with smiling, and yet, when I do approach her, she puts her head down and doesn't say a word? But when I'm leaving, I look back to see if she's watching me walk away, she does look back at me and locks eyes with me. There are many girls who are working there, a store, but this specific girl, I catch her looking at me all the time, even when I do catch her, she breathes heavily and doesn't know what to do, but when I get in her lane, she's short with me, and doesn't look me in my eyes, so then I stay quiet, but when when I reach the exit, I look back and shes always looking at me with a smile that fades into what almost looks sad... She hugs my daughters, and my daughters give her things, and she always looks at my reaction when it happens. I don't wanna scare her away or mess it up...
@sven_ampleforth6 ай бұрын
Hi coach Melannie!!! I would add to the list: Be always and only the shoulder where she can cry. I mean, the kind of girl that is never available to talk but she want you to be avaliable when she is sad, and want you to give her a boost of self-steem or cheer her up; and after she is fine she will be distant and "very busy" to text you. ---------- There is something magical when you walk with a girl under a UMBRELLA in a rainy and chilly day.

I was just SO head over heels with finding her after 40 some years & how promising it looked for us to restart. And she did try to make me her scratching post, but I slammed her right back. Once I found out what she'd been up to, and her health/mental health issues, our something became the NOTHING that it is today. She got what she paid for.

You are so right on #4. I fell for the lie that putting up with that garbage was part of being a nice guy. Well, it is. But the Bible does not direct me to be a nice guy, does it. It says I am to be a GOOD guy; which sometimes means a whip in the temple, calling Pharisees serpents, or sharply rebuking someone like Paul did to Peter to the face. Well, now that I have done 20 years of damage to my Christian marriage being a SIMP by accident (perished through lack of knowledge), I have repented, asked her forgiveness, and am moving on. With her, because... duh, right? I cannot "ditch her" due to the bond of marriage, and I am ok with that, now that He has taught me how to lean on Him for friendship.
