I am 60 years old and I ran the Dublin marathon on October 27th in 3:34 , I took 3 days off and started back running for 30 mins a day , I wore the Brooks Glycerin Max running shoes and they made a huge difference on how long I had to take off

I don't know what fuel u trained with but I found taking a gel every 4kms. Really helped me. Don't even think about it just take it, it helps me to keep my head in the game and not want to quit when the going get tough.
