Brakes for the carts seems like a really good idea. It's a really nice train. I still suggests installing a fire extinguisher & a welding torch into the loco. And @TheSuperTrousers is right. You NEED to make a speed test on the loco, For Science!!!!

Yeye, it might also be cool if the brakes are locked on when the train is disconnected, but that might just be more annoying if hes trying to push them by hand.

Frantic, your locomotive would be a 0-6-0 class locomotive because it has no front trucks (wheels on pivots) or trailing trucks. The 6 means that it has 6 drive wheels.

Hey Frantic, love the series, but I just have a few suggestions for your train: 1: Please make the freight cars taller, compared to the real thing they are tiny. Increasing their height by a block or two would make them look so much better. 2: This is more my OCD, but adding a brake van to go at the back would be nice. It could easily double as an equipment room where all the tools & bed are kept. 3: Please give us a speed test with the loco, it’s for science purposes. 😂😂😂

Wouldnt the dials on the sides of the coal car give 1/3 of the actual capacity and fill level? I assume the hoppers will even out the coal among themselves, but it could be a bit misleading. Maybe you could multiply the the fill level output number by 3 using a microcontroller or something similar, and the capacity level just in the dial settings (just to make the dial move correctly)?

Does your loco have any problems with cooling? The way it performs so well, it makes me wonder if it runs for long enough, if it'll overheat.
