Very nice sample. Really helps illustrate the point that coal power is pretty awful. A lot of people I've talked to are always shocked when I tell them coal power plants release far more radioactive material into the environment than nuclear plants. Nuclear plants have to actually track and dispose of their waste, coal can just pump it straight into the air we breathe.

Funny thing is China has been using more coal plants than any country and building more. Yet they also have nuclear but they seem to be always under construction.

they just really prioritize giving people lots electricity but I just read that by 2030 coal plant construction will stop & by 2035 nuclear will be not less than 10% of China's electricity, they're aiming 0 emmisions in 2060 (that's 25 years later than Europe & California)

Germany? We're looking at you! Where I live? We are phasing out our last coal power plant this summer to be temporarily replaced by natural gas, solar and wind power but in the medium term? New full-scale and SMR nuclear power plants are planned to replace natural gas in about 10-15 years if all goes to plan...
