Not sure why you think the Netherlands and South Africa are the same, when the financially educated know that Netherlands Central Bank, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) is a public limited company incorporated under Dutch law. The Dutch State is the sole shareholder. Meanwhile, the BILLIONAIRE OPPENHEIMER EMPIRE founded, owns and controls the SOUTH AFRICAN RESERVE BANK as a PRIVATE SHAREHOLDER COMPANY along with Anglo American, while they forever orchestrating the rigged ZAR currency into junk status for IMF insurance bailouts in the corrupt SA economy, while at the same time the ZAR currency is tied to the economic hitman currency US dollar which is why South Africa uses US Policies. I as a high income tax paying South African residing in Hong Kong knows very well that the Oppenheimer Asia Limited has been in Hong Kong for over 140 years as stated on their website, along with their headquarters in New York. It's nice to blame the black government when you're too financially uneducated to know who owns and controls the South African economy through a privately owned Central Bank. PATIENTS IS A VIRTUE when you're ignorant thinking the PRIVATELY OWNED South African Reserve Bank and ZAR currency is your savior, meanwhile the educated world knows that South Africa is a slow-cooking pot with trillions of IMF insurance bailouts for international investors if a civil war breaks out. The funny thing is that this is a surprise to NOBODY - Pretty sure everyone had the same thought when two parties so ideologically different split the majority vote and had to be "partners". The lack of care and concern for the South African people is disgusting from all the parties because some see it as a payday and others as another day to control things. The people will always suffer as long as we have these bitter old people in parliament. ANC, DA whatever the party, the people in charge are from a bygone era and we will continue to suffer under the hands of those once oppressors and those oppressed seeking some sort of "revenge". I personally am very cycnial in my view of this country and where are we going. I know many South Africans feel the same way and its just tough to see a way out of this nonsense. Actually, they want to drop the number of cabinet ministries. The DA wants key ministries to exercise oversight and deal with the massive levels of corruption in government. The only reason some in the ANC, MK, and EFF don't want the DA in government is because the DA will combat corruption. The reality is that massive government corruption has a black face...not a white face. That is why the race card is being played.

We need to stop talking about these ministries as though they belong to the parties. You need to earn money by being so skilled you can replicate financial success in a more competitive market. We've had the problem of white own subcontractors extracting south africas tax resources through government contractors when the truth is most of these people are so untalented that the CANNOT build success in the private sector. Scientifically speaking, like charges cannot attract each other. Its practically impossible. What we all need to do as citizens to assists politicians is to humble ourselves,be realistic, live this NATO/BRICS alliances and be pragmatic in our approach for the good of ourselves and the generations to come. Thus, start thinking as a human race forget about this petty politicking issues about politicians, political parties manifestos, race, rand, power struggles etc. My ID,yours and all of us have only our photos; not Ramaphosa or Steyhuisen. On my side whether this GNU nonsense get done now or next year it's meaningless as it is already about power struggles, black and white by politicians political shenanigans. Why can't they ask us, as citizens to put a national petition as votes are being rigged?

The best thing I liked about tom hanks in groundhog day is when he says about a box of chocolates and then wakes up to the same box of chocolates every day. A bit like living in south africa.

South Africa 🇿🇦 can do better with good government and a honest experience President to the nation and serve the people of South Africa 🇿🇦

yah and what amazes me is while they are fighting there is no loadshadding but once all this is resolved load shedding will start again, what a country. 😒

I try not to listen to news or podcasts speculating about the GNU. Saps my energy and makes me feel anxious. When the announcement is made..I'll start paying attention again.

It's only been 3 weeks though. And it's not like everything governmental has come to a standstill. It's politics and these are two very different agendas clashing

DA ALSO IMPOSSIBLE with their demands. DA DID NOTHING FOR COLOUREDS BLACKS here in Cape Town. Major inequalities here in Cape Town.

Got to love democracy in action when there is no longer a singular monopoly over power. Belgium went through more than a year trying to form a coalition government. Still teething in SA. Ofcourse politicians will be politicians and claim to represent their constituents interests rather than their own. However when it comes to some in the opposition in SA, even some with in the ANC. I think we need to still give them time and a chance to work out a deal. And let us not be surprised when politicians go pull sketch politking at us.

The arrogance of the DA is a direct consequence of the behaviour of black leaders, leaders of MK, PA, EFF, IFP & ANC inability to find each other for the sake of the Black child😢

It's quite disturbing how all these political parties are consumed by politicking and they forget that their main job is to govern...to serve the people. Thanks Dan for this heartfelt video that conforms that the political process ruins progress and hurts people.

You state the ANC has twice as many votes as the DA but you also confused by the DA asking for 10 out of 30 ministries. Should the DA then ask for 15 positions then ? You are very confusing.

The MPs should not be paid nor the parties via salaries to Gov till a Gov is formed. Then I dont mind if they take years.. because it would not happen. If I had it my way after 1 month the parties should be paying salaries that they should be earning as a fine besides not getting paid too. Trust me it would be resolved before the salary run fails..
