In regards to keeping this box level , I had a S 36 superbox and had to install 2 spirit levels on that box. 1 on the footplate and 1 on the frame of the box as there is play in the footplate. I have had my XR36 3 days now and have ordered another spirit level as there is not one on the frame of the box. Really surprised matrix did not pick up on this 🤔 considering how much thought/tech went into the rest of the box . 3 spirit levels on a top of the range box not much to ask really. Also it will be interesting to see if the spirit level by the pole seat fades away to a clear colour after a few months. This happened on the S36, but the 2 spirit levels I fitted are still bright yellow allowing easy adjustment

Great looking piece of kit. Tested one out yesterday and was very disappointed that the side draw didn't slide in and out when sat on the box. Is this a design fault matrix are aware of.

Yes fantastic bit of kit but again why do we need 36mm legs, I would love to buy a new box but I cant afford to replace all my attachments side trays and other bits of kit that are all for 30mm legs. Please can someone take the time to answer???

I'll answer you mate we are seen as tackle tarts maver did the the same so I'm in the same predicament why can they make a little stubby attachment that can be used for your older rests keepnet arms etc ???? By the way way the greatest angler of our generation John Wilson used to kneel or have a little folding chair didn't effect his catch rate

@@johnmccormack1154 I ask this on all the new 36mm seatbox videos and not one Manufacturer has answered me, no comment from any of them. I have saved up for a new box but there is no way I can afford everything else as well. Richard.

@@richt4336 36mm legs offer more stability and if we produced this box with 30mm legs we just wouldn't sell as many, we are a business and have to listen to the market and produce products that will sell. We produce the Superbox with 25mm legs but have never produced a box with 30mm legs for the reason mentioned above. All of our Seatbox accessories are universal and fit 25mm, 30mm and 36mm so as a company we are doing all we can to stop anglers having the problem you're currently experiencing.

@@ifishmatrix You dont get my point I understand that all your accessories have adaptors for the smaller leg sizes, its that I would have to buy everything again for 36mm legs as all my accessories are for 30mm legs. I am sorry but I have to disagree 30mm legs are stable enough we dont need 36mm legs I am 23 stone and my box is rock solid with 30mm legs, this is just a way to get us to buy all the accessories again. I also have to say your box is fantastic and would have definitly sold with 30mm legs. thank you for taking the time to reply though Richard.

@@ifishmatrix The chain is as strong as it's weakest link. The fact that the inserts are 25mm means that you can achieve very similar stability with 30mm legs and 25mm inserts. And trust me you would sell many more boxes due to accessories compatibility. Please continue to be the innovators and not the imitators!!!

Vincent Mckenna might be cheaper but you normally get what you pay for with fishing tackle. Build quality will probably not be as good.

@@ifishmatrix hello it doesn't as there is play on the footplate when fully extended as shown in alot of videos so the box can't be made properly level as there is not one on the main box for front to back
