Very Nice Jon. Great edit and loved the Drone work! Looks like you guys had quite the adventure. Great views as well, especially at the end going from the tower down to the Bay :)

Thanks for the feedback mate! Yes it was stunning, a great reward for the weeks riding..Love the Drone, although it holds up the ride and other guys quite a lot although I would say it was worth it !

Quite inspirational, planning has commenced with local club to C2C next year.Would be good to get input from people along the route with local knowledge who could advise of possible better routes & tracks of significant interest! I know the RHB end of the C2C really well could have taken you on a more interesting route than the Cinder Track, but I guess by then you just want CHIPS! Great video loved the drone bits particularly on day 3.

Great end to the series and fond memories of the ‘bay’! In Colorado at the moment and it’s much too cold for biking I’ll be glad to get home.

Thanks buddy, are you UK based or live/work in Colorado?
@twozerouk5 жыл бұрын
I’m UK based near Penrith so was familiar with quite a bit of your earlier part of the C2C. Colorado is just the end of a road trip from Denver to Calgary and back. Bit of a mad caper really no plan just booking accommodation on Tripadviser by the day and seeing where I finish up.

Sounds the dream mate! Did you get any riding in or find somewhere to rent some bikes? Sounds like a fun trip :)
@twozerouk5 жыл бұрын
No biking on this trip wrong time of year Colorado is mostly 5000’ plus and temperatures have been down to -12c on the higher passes. However lots of potential in Summer with decent bikes for hire. Did you have backup on your C2C trip? I live close to the normal C2C bike route and it seemed quiet this year.

Loved the whole series of 6 videos - just watched them back to back! Apart from being entertaining its given me a great idea of the terrain we'll be facing when I ride this with a mate later this year. We're doing it on non e-bikes which I think makes the hike-a-bike easier, but not so much the bike-a-bike. After doing that do you have any views on what you would prioritise in a bike for this route, lightweight or more suspension travel? From the video the first couple of days look really rocky but then second half seemed like a hard tail or XC bike would be fine.
@TheBikePilot4 жыл бұрын
Hi Joel, I don’t think you need a full sus MTB, and XC bike would be fine. Day 1-2 suited MTB? The rest would be fine or better on a lighter XC bike. A lot of the elevation gained ends up descents on the road. The Hike a bike sections were dry much few and far between. Was super fun and we were blessed with the weather, the Yorkshire moors in the wind and rain would be miserable..! Let me know how you get on 🤘🤘

Really enjoyed all the videos mate, excellent job! What sort of mechanicals did you have over the whole route and what spares did you need/take with you? Any electrical problems at all?
@TheBikePilot4 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. Thanks for the message..Nothing major, just the usual. Tyre blew so needed a tube and then replace the tyre and I had to have my mech hanger bent out after a fall. I’d take a new hanger, tubes and a spare tyre. We had a spare TCU & Power Cable as well lent to us by Berkshire Cycles as everyone was on Levo’s. No electric problems..
