I definitely loved all the verses as usual. I think Ras' verse spoke to me most because of him speaking from the judicial system paired with death, and then the record label scheme. It's almost as though he outlined the life of the average rapper's career, but from the outside influences perspective. Genius. Out working the reaper is an insane line with 3 meanings. He is working harder than the reaper who is always working, he is also staying ahead of the reaper/death, AND he is working the reaper which was used for harvesting which could mean he is reaping the benefits of his hard work. When this spoken word dropped, I ran to your channel and was so disappointed I had to keep waiting and watching other reactors first. But you guys always make it worth the wait! To me, this is their best work because it shows how elevated their talent is, that I can be captivated by their rhythm, flow, cadence , performance, lyricism, schemes, and depth of message . . . without a beat behind it. To me, they have been always trying to get us to see that its about their MESSAGE. And the central theme of all their messages is that the corporations are killing black culture---physically, mentally, morally and spiritually-- IN FRONT OF OUR FACES AND WITH OUR PERMISSION, by purchasing the souls of anyone hungry for easy money and fame, whether or not they have any genuine talent, into their puppeteered influencers of destruction. Ras' act resonated the most with me because I believe it is the summation of what Coast continues to preach to those with ears to hear. Listen to lyrics of those at the top of the chart! If its men, then it killing and drugs. Women, its about the wetness or color of their private parts. The music industry CEOs hate us! When the machine is done gaining the souls of the masses that these industry puppets have influenced to embrace every type of perversion, they then throw the purchased artist away and the grim reaper finishes them off. As talented as they are, Coast will never be as big as those willing to sell out the culture to their own eventual destruction. So, maybe "making it big" should no longer be the measuring stick of true riches and success.
