What a way to start my Sunday watching and listening to your latest video full of wonderful historical facts and beautiful sceenery and even Mutley popped up. Little did you know Jerrard when you met the wonderful Esther you would be sharing all this with the world. Love the story about Pill and yes may it long continue. Thanks again for sharing, see you next week.TTFN

We're on home turf now so you'll probably get a bit more personal reflection. A few years ago I got to know Pill and the people quite well, they are one of a kind.

A very interesting episode with some good historical facts, I bet there are not so many close Communities like that anymore that date back so many years. So it looks like this amazing journey will be over next week, I will look forward to it with enthusiasm and some sadness.

I'm not so sure it will be over next week, there's Portishead and Clevedon before Weston!

At the rate your going Portishead is going to be a double and so is Clevedon, the transformation since you made the far side of Exmoor in one video is truly commendable

At the weekend thanks to this video I had a super ride to somewhere which is fairly local to me and I've never been before! I take part in a Facebook photo challenge where you have to visit various landmarks and photograph them with your bike - one of them is a railway bridge. Seeing the railway bridge in Pill I planned a circular route of about 100 miles taking in the bridge in Pill and had a great time. It wasn't the best biking road by any means but I stopped and saw views of the Severn I've never seen before, went somewhere faily local I've never been, researched some interesting history and got chatting to a lovely chap when I stopped for lunch. I often think it's the random people you chat to and things you see which for me make a memorable and super day out on the bike. So a very long way of saying thank you very much. Sharing your adventure helped me have a lovely day out:)

Thank you Nikki for your lovely message. We know what you mean about talking to people along the way. We have had some fascinating conversations with locals that looking back would have made great footage. Believe it or not we’re quite camera shy. It’s uncomfortable enough filming ourselves talking to camera let alone expecting someone else to do it😄 So, sounds like you’re fairly close to us?

@@greatbritishbikingadventures I really am very grateful to you and so enjoy your videos. I hate crowds but will happily chat to locals 😀 I’m in West Wiltshire very close to the Somerset border.

I feel bad for not noticing the usual, and some might say 'best', narrator wasn't around on the last two episodes 🤯 Great to have both you and Mutley back 🎉 Well I certainly learnt a lot today about a place 20 minutes from me ✔

Who? Who would say that Esther is the better narrator? Tell me so I can ban them from the channel 😡😡😡😡😡 😂😂😂😂😂.
