We can't help ourselves, a sign saying restricted access is like catnip. We have to take a look.😁

Thanks for another informative ride 😊. More importantly thanks for highlighting the issues in the western world today, that unfortunately , so many seem to be blind to atm 😦.

Our pleasure. I think many people choose to keep their eyes closed because they are scared of what they will see.

The EV debate is an interesting one. It would appear Hydrogen is the real solution but everyone is now invested in Electric 🙈 That track immediately before Angle looked good, a bit of soft roading with a view 😎 Really enjoying the special effects, the bins were brilliant, is the new software facilitating that?
@greatbritishbikingadventures8 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, it's not really a debate because the outcomes have already been set. There's a glimmer of hope - latest news suggests the buying public are rejecting EVs big time. People are waking up to the reality of range limitation, long term battery life, residual values etc. It will be a massive U turn for the government and I'm not getting my hopes up. Hydrogen and synthetic fuels are (suspiciously) being ignored. Even though they have the potential for achieving 'net zero' it seems the government's intention is to get rid of anything with a tail pipe. I'm still editing on the old set up and will probably keep with it until the end of the series. The effects are all 'work arounds' using green screen techniques.

I think that you are right to question many things that we are being pushed towards for the better of mankind. I personally am not an expert but I fear that many who claim that attribute know very little more than I do. Various governments have wasted (and still are) millions of pounds on various courses of action only to find that they were the wrong way to go. If protesters walked or cycled to all of their protest sites I personally would think a lot more of them. Still loving the ride/education. Keep safe.

Thank you Mike. Dare I say, if the protesters walked or cycled there would be no protest😁.

Good to hear your thoughts on the climat scam. Dissent not tolerated, bit like communism, totalitarianism and other isms.
@greatbritishbikingadventures8 ай бұрын
100% lie, along with a lot else besides. You know something's wrong when you can't even ask questions, let alone get straight answers. And, like all the 'isms', it requires (and increasingly forces) everyone to conform - It's evil! Alan, please read my reply to the other comment left by 'Ken'.

I am really enjoying watching your videos featuring many of my favourite places in Wales. I agree with you that it appears from a lot of the media and the "establishment" that to question global warming is tantamount to being a flat earther! I prefer to keep an open mind. There is a video on KZbin that puts forward an alternative view ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mICkhqasi82aqbcsi=rAVSFKH-uuzBVwu7). Looking forward to watching the rest of your adventures.

I have appreciated the bible verses right from the beginning of your series, the worrying thing is have we got to the book Revelation as it seems we are getting ever closer to

We hadn't thought of the journey in that way but now you mention it we see what you mean! Hopefully, it will make people think 🤔

With regards to the urgency to stop oil and all these different ideas, this I believe is because people have stopped believing God's words which has proved to be true. The Holy Bible says when the Lord returns He will reign with His saints for one thousand years, Revelation 20 read it all. So this earth will remain for at least 1000 years. It will eventually melt with Fervent heat.

Thank you Ken for your insight and valid points. I am going to avoid a deep drive into eschatology this time but I would like to speak to those that have not discovered what is really going on in this world and, more importantly, who Jesus is (not just was). You maybe atheistic, agnostic, indifferent or simply don’t care but my plea is - please please please spend some time researching the true message of the Christian faith, what is known as ‘The Gospel’. Open your mind to the existence of a creator God and discover what He says in His word - the Bible (I recommend you start with the book of John). It might take a while but I guarantee what is happening in the world will start to make complete sense. Spoiler alert - IT’S A BIG LIE! Of course, there will always be unanswered questions. Ultimately, no amount of information will be enough to bring you into a relationship and understanding of the one true God. You will need to put preconceptions, peer pressure and stubbornness aside and be prepared to be transformed by and put your faith in the truth (John 14:6). The bible says (Matthew 7:7) - “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you”. My hope and prayer for everyone is they will not only ‘knock’ but will step through that door. It’s a simple process but many cannot bring themselves to do it (Matthew 7:13-14). Probably because it involves confronting our own sin. Yes, we are part of the problem! But, if you can humble yourself then God is eager to forgive and stepping over the threshold into a new life becomes possible.

Loved the sentiment in this episode. Yes - not the most scenic but all part of your journey. And I too despair with much of modern attitudes to the point of despair. I don’t practise religiously but as I’ve mentioned before my eldest son is an avid reader of the Gospel. When I question with him how the world is today he believes that the devil is at play and judgement day will reveal all. He may well be correct. Was hoping to ride my Crosstourer this weekend but unfortunately I’ve picked up a severe eye infection in the right eye - hence just started a week’s course of antibiotics and texting with one eye. Presently planning 10 days trip to Kerry in Ireland where the roads are very quiet and the scenery compares with Wales. Keep up the good work. 👍👍
@greatbritishbikingadventures8 ай бұрын
Thank you Mike. Your son is correct but you don't want or need to wait until 'Judgement Day' to be enlightened and spared judgement. No need to despair, you can accept the Lord Jesus now and have eternal hope. If you don't mind me saying, I think you maybe (understandebly) hindered by a preconception. I say this because of your use of the words "practice" and "religious". I wouldn't use those terms to describe Christian faith. I am not 'religious' and do not 'practice'. I am simply a Christian, someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. I cannot begin to describe the joy and hope this realisation brings. A joy and hope that everyone (including you) is just one step away from being part of. No need for an invite or a priest to let you in, just a repentant heart and an acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and saviour.
