The sail boat courses freak non aquatic people out. Most black people don’t love being on the water either. I think that is why u don’t see as many black people there as u would at annapolis or West Point. In summary, if a student interested in the service academies tends to apply to all. Most qualified accedemy applicants choose West Point or Annapolis due to the prestigious reputation. It’s why there r only 250-300 in a class there.
