Considering you can look up the cost of a new Freeman 37 quite easily on the internet, id say you maybe wrong. Maybe his upgrades cost around 3/4 of the cost of the boat and if it did you would be right. I highly doubt it but anything is possible. One thing for sure it’s a mighty fine aquatic specimen

Believe me they know they are not popular boarding charter boats. My skipper was tired of boarding the same charter captains over an over again in Maui HI back in the 80’s. People are paying lots of money to go out and fish on vacation and here we were taking some of their fun time away from them. We were required to complete a certain amount of law enforcement boardings every month though so that is what we did. USCG 1981-1986. 🍻 Again it is there job and thank you for making it easy for them.

If you want to reduce your interactions with the USCG, simply contact your local USCG Auxiliary and ask for a safety inspection. They will come out to your vessel, inspect, and if and when you have everything, issue a sticker. When a boarding officer sees that sticker, they typically will say thanks for participating and move on.

Great day. I’ve seen videos of boats that have nothing but pole rods. Maybe 15-20 people fishing. I don’t think they used any kind of bait. When they snapped the fish into the boat it came off the hook somehow and the fisherman would cats immediately. There was no one taking fish off hooks. Nothing but hooks, rods and fish flying all over the place. A miracle no one got hooked. Maybe pacific or Caribbean? The coast guard pulling up and you guys continuing to fish reminded me of Chevy Chase in Caddyshack. Mind if I play through?
