Coast Guard Rescue on a Cruise Ship

In January 2018, a medical emergency occurred on our cruise ship in the Bahamas. The ship turned and headed for Nassau at top speed, while clearing the upper deck of passengers in preparation for the helicopter rescue.
Once the cruise ship had come to a stop just north of Nassau, a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter met the ship at sea and took the patient from the ship to Doctors Hospital in Nassau.
