I try and try to explain what this place means, but there really are no words. That group of rocks by some choppy waters in front of that lighthouse with lots of history, it changes you. It buries into your soul and gives you life when you thought all was lost. The Nubble was my safety when I lived there. I'd go in pouring rain or even hot days. Thanks for putting my feelings down on paper and sung for the world to hear. I'm a born and raised Mainer who no longer lives there, but I miss the coast so much. Thank you.

I am a native Mainer. Living in Arizona now, as the winters were just too much. But, Maine will always be my home. Thank you for this beautiful song, I listen to it when I'm missing Maine.....and the ocean.

My family moved away from Maine in 1972 when I was teen and my heart broke. I am now 61 years old and I miss this state in my soul and you brought it back to me. Let me be on the coast of Maine. There is nowhere in the world like it. Thank you for your beautiful voice and song.

@@KathleenReganMusic I also love that you introduced us to your dad in your video. My mom had passed and when my dad retired he spent his summers near Bar Harbor. He would send me money (don't tell my siblings) to fly up to visit. We would spend days visiting my old childhood haunts and he introduced me to the nooks and crannies of the coast around Acadia. He has passed but I cherish the memories of both my mom (whose coastal paintings decorate my house) and dad on the coast of Maine. I'm glad I found your music. It's beautiful.

I can not thank you enough for this song. I lost my father several years ago and my mother last year. Many many generations of my family have lived and worked along the coast of Maine. Nov 2018 I came back to Maine to care for my mother in her finally months and I cant imagine being anywhere else

This is absolutely a truly beautiful song. I have put it on all of my list. A few years ago I stood below Nubble for hours watching the sun trying to break through the clouds, taking images of that lovely place. Nubble and Pemaquid are very special to me, but I have a thousand places along the coast of Maine that also make my blood move a little faster and open my eyes just a little bit wider. Maine, a place I left in adulthood (and always miss until I get back for a visit), in general, is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the coast is just about the best part of Maine. Thanks for the wonderful song. What a great voice and songwriter!

I played this for my wife last night, she is a native maniac, I took her away during my 20 year navy career and we lived in Texas, my native home, for 8 years came to Maine 2 years ago Thanksgiving.
