Coast to Coast or Bust

Took a bit of a road trip last year, and this is the video. Overall, I was hot the whole way west, and cold the whole way back east. I camped just under half the nights. I was rained on three times. The bike is a 2005 Suzuki DR650. It had 26,000 miles when I left, and never skipped a beat. I had made prior plans to replace the back tire in San Francisco. The only unexpected repair was the rear chain, which I apparently wasn't lubricating enough.

I really like how my past couple videos have turned out, but they are a lot of work. I may not be one of those channels that pumps out a video every week, but I have no intention to stop making videos.

Glad you're still kickin. You made some epic 22re videos. I can say that with confidence considering I've watched many dozens of 22r/22re-specific and toyota pickup/4runner videos. You just gotta do it. For me, requesting the time off a year in advance is what made it happen. It was easier for my boss to approve that far ahead of time, and it gave me a deadline to have the plans in place. It will be so worth it.

Great trip, great perspective. Can you confirm that the Earth is indeed flat? Or at least the United States? I imagine it'd be hard to ride a motorcycle on a curved surface.

Flat surfaces are easier. As you can see, when I rode on a non-flat surface, I fell.

Pretty cool. I'd rather hear voice over telling about the places you visited and what you saw/thought then music all the time. I stopped watching do to no story telling.
