Throwback to what my channel started out with. Back in high school these were what all my money went in to. Let me know if you subscribed because of these bikes!

I can't remember when but you was one of the first channels I subbed to many years ago. The mower and 4Runner videos are how I found your channel. I'm happy to see you upgraded to HD but I always liked the old camera too, the only way I can describe it is that it made me feel 'nostalgic'.
@TheAlexManVideos5 жыл бұрын
Well if you want the nostalgic feel you can always choose the 480 quality in the bottom right corner. Should load way faster too!

Awesome recap. Loved all your videos from those days. Especially the cam timing and valve lash videos. Learned valve lash adjustment from your videos. Wish you best of luck.

I've been subbed since the first z50r video! Love the videos! I would love to know how you got the one street legal? I live in NC but have land in Va.

You'll need a title. I didn't have one, so I had to submit some paperwork for a lost title. With that, you can register pretty much any 50 cc or less motorcycle as a moped. There are some rules about seat height, and you are not technically allowed to ride above 35 mph, so just watch out and don't be stupid. Mopeds do have to be registered, and it's only like $10 a year. Insurance, lights, and inspection are not required.

I have a 2006 crf 50 that will push start then once it’s warmed up it runs fine and then it will kick start right up but when it’s cold it struggles to run what do you think

Check the basics. Clean the carb, run fresh gas, replace the plug, and check the valve adjustments.

Is that the old place? I don't see your workbench in the back left corner any more. I recognize the cul de sac though! I'm an OG. :D
@TheAlexManVideos5 жыл бұрын
It's not the old place. The old place was my parents' house. This is my house. Been here a couple years now. But it is also on a cul-de-sac and positioned almost the same as my parents' house on their street.

Used to watch you smoke weekend warriors in the kart track videos, hilarious seeing guys with motards scratching their heads as you fly by them on a 80's trail bike hahaha. I'm still modding an 86 going on 14 years now, been through 1 lifan clone and bolted a newer one on about five years ago, still keep the original geometry and ride it like a bike that is bulletproof because they are except the tanks. I don't even think the newer monkey 125's compare to the modded Z's, the Lifan clutches are absolute garbage though.

I had a lot of fun on those small tracks. I geared my bike to almost hit the top speed by the end of the track. That meant it would have the hardest acceleration possible without topping out. It was neck and neck with the 150R's down the straight, but I could turn quick. Some guys were better riders than me though. They'd pass me in the turns. Usually they were on CRF50's with similar engines to mine. The little bikes are king in the turns. I've always built my engines starting with a genuine Honda. From there I try to keep with Honda Trail Bikes, Takegawa, or Kitaco to use quality parts. But there's something to be said for the drop in engines that some of them make. It's hard to argue with the price.

Nice DRZ!
@TheAlexManVideos5 жыл бұрын
It's a DR650. I was looking for a DRZ400S or SM but my buddy was selling this for a third the price that the Z's usually go for so I snagged it up.
@MrStevoovets5 жыл бұрын
@@TheAlexManVideos should have caught that. They're excellent machines. Have a 400s myself. Thought about getting a 650, but I've got to many mods into it to sell it now.
