Coastal Georgia DUCK BEATDOWN...Tybee Island!

In the video the Guide To Georgia Outdoors Crew met up with The Guided Outdoors Crew and GuidedGuy (say that 3 times fast) for some duck hunting at Tybee Island on the Georgia Coast. This hunt was a blast with 30 ducks getting killed even though the weather was hot and the fog was thick.

Love the video! What’s the process of duck hunting there? Any special licensing, permits, or regulations? I’d like to do that next year.

Well, waterfowl is regulated by both state and the federal governments. You'll need a hunting license for the state you plan to hunt in, in this case, Georgia, you'll also need to apply for a hip number in Georgia, and you'll also need to buy a federal duck stamp as well as a state duck stamp if Georgia has one, which you can buy online or at most post offices. You also cannot use lead shot on waterfowl, so steel, bismuth and tungsten are your main options and if you're shotgun holds more than 3 rounds total ( 2 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber), you'll need to plug you're magazine.
