I did a 2.4km run around East Coast Park's latest playground, while having lots of fun along the way!
It consists of NParks’ first outdoor classroom by the sea built with pre-schoolers in mind and a view of the sea. This feature offers preschools in the area more programming options.
Nature Playgarden - several themed sections that encourage children to interact and play in nature. It is segmented into three unique sections including log trails, balancing beams, teepee huts & more.
The 4.5ha Coastal PlayGrove is part of Npark's long-term plans of building a new nature trail along East Coast Park to connect existing and upcoming therapeutic gardens, nature playgardens and forest patches.
There is also this 16m, four-storey high Play Tower that houses 2 slides, the Vertical Challenge, a vertical net play area and numerous rope-based obstacles which includes stepping pods, hammocks, grip wall and disc swings.
The inclusive water play area consists of wading pools connected by a stream with numerous water jets that light up at night. The water play area is also wheelchair-accessible. A toilet is located close by for cleaning up.
This is definitely a fun-filled park to bring your family to have a wonderful day!
