Coastal Walk To Steephill Cove - Wild Orchids! Crab Pasties!

Come with me on a coastal walk from Woody Cove toward Ventnor, Isle of Wight - along the way, we'll stop to look at some very special wildlife - at our destination, Steephill Cove (accessible only by foot or water), there are crab pasties for lunch!

That crab pastie looked superb - I'm betting that it tasted superb, too. Last time I went to the Isle Of Wight, in 2015, I had 'Crab On Chips', from a place on the front at Ventnor. It's quite possibly one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. A great pity that it's the best part of 300 miles from where I live, to get another. Shame.

I'd agree that memorial benches are a beautiful idea. And those views are truly spectacular: there's nothing quite like a calm coastal view of the open sea. What was it that Eva managed to dig up? Looked like some kind of shellfish.
