Guardians are the eyes and ears of their territories

Guardians are known as the eyes and ears of their lands and waters. Guardians carry generations of place-based knowledge and work to preserve, protect, manage and monitor their territories. Coastal Guardian Watchmen from the Wuikinuxv, Nuxalk, Kitasoo Xai'Xais, Heiltsuk, Haida, Melakatla, Gitxaala, and Gitga'at Nations, gather every year to share experiences, stories, engage in workshops and culture and be together.
