I have had two rollbacks on TTD, both taken on cold closing days, a couple years apart. My reaction to both was pretty much the same as yours. Anytime I have gotten a rollback on any coaster (I have had five total) I react the same no matter the ride. Lol.

Honestly with it's downtime just a normal ride on Dragster is amazing. Getting a rollback is like hitting the lotto twice. I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to ride it once. A rollback would be the greatest moment of my life. Even better than that time I rode Millennium Force with the trains full of water which floated with us as we went off the drop.

I was at Cedar Point on 10/27. It was cold and rainy, my feet were soaked ---but I got to ride Steel Vengeance 11 times, thanks to Fast Lane. I wasn't planning on riding that many times ... but they made me pay for a locker. Went to King's Island the next day for a final ride Firehawk.

I got so many rides in on Gatekeeper on its media day that I lost count... got to ride about every seat on a train that day. The other fun thing was on that day they opened up Raptor and Millennium Force too as a training day for the ride crews. Another time when I got ERT for Maverick it was literally a near walk-on and rode it back to back 7 times and had to quit.

The last Friday night of the season was the night for rollbacks... I was on 4 rollbacks Friday night and on 1 first train of the morning on Sunday. I've experienced 22 total rollbacks on TTD...but that's nearly 3,000 rides.

We visited all throughout the year and then worked at the park on Saturday’s during Halloweekends lol Sundays during Halloweekends are generally dead but Saturdays at that time are PACKED. Most crowded days of the year. Your best bet for slower days are in May on weekdays and same with June. Avoid Saturday’s

Chase all rides besides water rides are still scheduled to run on Sundays during Halloweekends! But sometimes bad staffing can force rides to close, usually Windseeker, the Sky Way, one side of Gemini. None of the more major attractions tho

I know that dragster has an option in their controls to predict a rollback... so it doesn't always depend on the last train weight and weather, it also depends on how well you tip the dispatcher ;)

I loved working at Cedar Point! I honestly wish I had worked there earlier and maybe spent less years at Great Adventure! Great Adventure had some pros over Cedar Point (it was a goofier environment if you just wanted to show up and laugh all day long) but CP was far more organized, professional, and still goofy at the same time! It was also nice having 4 people to check a 36 person train at Millie rather than the standard 2 checking an entire 36 passenger Toro train! But driving to and from the park 8 hours each way was really stressful! I'd obviously live there if I ever worked there full time. What ride are you working this season?
